Dreamed, hoped for, expected, even fantasized, for diving, rest, relaxation, love, well-being... Whatever the reasons for a trip to the Maldives, it is impossible to be disappointed. Everything contributes to the dream: beauty above and below sea level, the kind kindness of the population, the quality of service attentive to the smallest detail, the supreme tranquility that reigns there, the magic of the landscapes, a weather under the sun exactly and, as a bonus, total safety. From low-budget travel to the most eccentric stay, everything is done to make your dream of a tropical paradise come true. The Maldives, a destination to be enjoyed at least once in your life.
A blue dream :
As soon as the plane begins its descent towards the Maldives archipelago, it is the blue, in all its shades, that grabs the newcomer. The dictionary defines blue as "one of the seven fundamental colours of the spectrum, between green and indigo". But there's blue and blue! The Maldives is the land of blue that is endlessly available: light blue, sky blue, horizon blue, lavender blue, natter blue, periwinkle blue, royal blue, navy blue, slate blue, green blue, petroleum blue, turquoise blue, duck blue... from the translucent shores to the dull opacity of the deep abyssal. The variations are sublime, conducive to tranquility and meditation. Few hotels do not have villas on stilts, in which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the infinite blue from every room, and even from your bathtub. Warm (28°C on average all year round) and translucent, the waters represent for many a space of dreams that only ends when they land in the European fog. The lucky ones who regularly return to the Maldives do not fail to mention the hypnotic enchantment still intact of these great blues.
