Day 1 : Arrival Palermo - Castellamare

Day 2 : Western Sicily

Day dedicated to Western Sicily. In the morning you can explore the hiking trails of the Zingaro reserve, a 3-hour walk through the most beautiful cornice trails.  Elegant Trapani, Erice, a medieval village clinging to the heights of Trapani. Return along the salt marshes of Trapani. Overnight in Castellamare.




Day 3 : Journey through the Sicily of Ancient Greece

Road to the south coast and journey through Sicily from ancient Greece. Visit to the site of Segesta, to admire the most beautiful Doric temple of the Mediterranean, Route to Agrigento. Afternoon visit to the Valley of the Temples, the most beautiful archaeological site of Greek civilization in the Mediterranean. Possibility to book a tour guide for 2 hours. You can complete the visit with a visit to the museum to discover the collections of Greek statues and colossuses...installation of the 4* hotel by the sea near Agrigento. It is possible to walk from your hotel to the natural site of La Scala dei Turchi, a huge white marl cliff that flows into the sea. Overnight in Agrigento.




Day 4 : Immersion in the lands of Inland Sicily

Immersion in the lands of Inland Sicily to reach Piazza Armerina Piazza Armerina Visit to the site of Villa Romana del Casale with its 4000 square metres of mosaic that tells us about ancient Rome. Continue to Caltagirone, the capital of ceramics in Sicily for almost 3000 years, and then to the unusual village of Palazzolo Acreidi, an ancient Greek and Roman city. Installation for 1 night in a typical agriturismo for 1 night. Overnight stay in Palazzolo.




Day 5 : Discovery of Baroque Sicily

Discovering the so-called Baroque Sicily, dotted with cities of art with exuberant architecture this itinerary, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, is one of the most original and fascinating areas of Italy. Stroll through the jewel cities of Baroque architecture, Ragusa, Noto, pause in the fishing village of Marzamemmi for a raw fish lunch experience.
This region is one of the most surprising and fascinating in southern Italy. End of the day check-in at the hotel in the Syracuse area. Overnight in Siracusa.




Day 6 : Neapoli

Visit the archaeological site of Neapoli, remains of the most powerful Greek city in the Mediterranean: the theatre, the agora, the Latomies, marble quarries.... You can spend the rest of the day in the historical centre, the peninsula of Ortigia: the Maniace fort, the cathedral built on a Greek temple, the painting of the Caravaggio... ...enjoy the "dolce Vita" atmosphere of Syracuse for an evening meal on the terraces and the Aretusa fountain. Overnight in a farmhouse in Syracuse.




Day 7 : The Ionian Coast

Departure in the morning for the Ionian coast. Stopover in Catania, visit of the city, the economic and cultural capital of Sicily . You can walk along the Cyclops coast with its medieval villages interspersed with large lava stone flows. Then the coast road of Taormina, one of the most beautiful bays of the Mediterranean. In the afternoon visit of the pretty seaside resort called " Perle Ionienne ". Installation at the end of the day in a seaside village on the outskirts of Taormina. Night in Giare




Day 8 : Etna

Departure at the earliest in the morning to reach Etna with the possibility of climbing up to 12900 m by cable car + jeep x4 (optional). Or environmental discovery with an excursion on foot on the northern slopes, a short hike around the great historical coulees. Stroll along the cornice roads and beaches of beautiful Isola. Relaxation and night in Giare




Day 9 : Volcano LIPARI

Departure for Milazzo boarding for the wind turbines and Lipari. Stopover at Vulcano where you can take a walk around the small volcano and enjoy the volcanic phenomena of the thermal park: bubbling baths, mud baths, sulphur baths, etc. Continue to the island of Lipari, the epicentre of windmills and lively towns. Installation for 02 nights in a 4* hotel. Lunch and dinner not included. Night in Lipari.




Day 10 : Wind Turbines - Stromboli

Boat trip through the Aeolian archipelago with a trip between Panarea and Stromboli with stops in the most beautiful creeks for swimming and in the villages on the islands. At nightfall you can watch the "Sciare del fuoco" show (excursion at extra charge on booking). Lunch and dinner not included. Nights in Lipari




Day 11 : Cefalu

You will take the boat back to Milazzo and the road to Céfalu.  We suggest you to visit some interesting places along the Thyrenian coast: the sanctuary of Tindari with its Belvedere on the Lagoon, the village of Castel di Tusa and San Stefano with its glowing red ceramics. The hotel is situated on the seafront in the picturesque village of Céfalù. Overnight in Céfalu.




Day 12 : The Madonie - Relaxation

Relax and enjoy the beautiful setting of your hotel. Stroll through the narrow streets, visit the cathedral, possibility of hiking on the heights of the Roccia. We suggest a loop in the Madonie Regional Park, where you will discover mountain landscapes that overhang the sea, villages preserved far from the great upheavals of the modern coasts . Night in Céfalù.




Day 13 : Monreale - Palermo

Road to Palermo passing through Monreale, a small town overlooking Palermo, seat of the Norman kings. The cathedral and its cloister are a masterpiece of Arab-Norman architecture of the 12th century. You can then settle down in the centre of Palermo and return your vehicle. Settling into your hotel in the lively centre of Palermo. Lunch and dinner not included. Overnight in Palermo.

Walk around the most beautiful buildings, testimonies of the millennia of Sicily's history of occupation. The Arab-Norman cathedral, the church of the Matorana, the Piazza della Vergogne, the theatres... the old quarters and the popular markets .
