Day 1 : Arrival in Windhoek

Last formalities, last purchase. Hand-taking of your rental vehicle. Accommodation in one of the city's intimate hotels. Don't miss to dine at the Joes Beer House, to enjoy a local beer and taste the game of the region (oryx, crocodile, zebra, koudou...). The staggered atmosphere and decoration of the place, on the theme of the safari, make it an indispensable place to get into the bath.

Day 2 : Désert Desert: only in the world

Departure early in the morning towards the dunes of Du. Take about 6 hours of road. Horseback riding for a first approach to the magnificent frame in which you will be immersed, before sipping a cocktail at sunset. Choose from one of the exclusive addresses where you will dine with candlelight and spend a night with the beautiful star in a comfortable bed on the terrace of your bungalow. Unforgettable.

Discover the famous lake of Dead Vlei, a white clay bowl dotted with dead trees and surrounded by ochre-coloured dunes. An essential part of Namibia. In Sossusvlei, the highest dunes in the world (over 300 metres) await you. Breathtaking show at the top of the dunes. Hiking is also possible in the canyon of Sesriem.

Day 4 : The Atlantic Coast, feet in water

To reach the small town of Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast (about 5 hours drive) you will cross a wide variety of desert landscapes. Swakopmund remains a seaside town with an amazing atmosphere, a base for many excursions, and... the place to on you from oysters and seafood!

Day 5 : Walvis Bay: kayaking, sandboarding or hot air balloon?

A kayak trip to meet the sea lions and pelicans that live by the thousands around Walvis Bay. Introduction to sandboarding or quad rental for an exhilarating experience in the dunes of Swakopmund. Excursion to Sandwich Harbor and lunch at the top of the dunes overlooking the ocean. Another option: a hot air balloon flight over the Sesriem desert. You will be spoilt for choice.

Day 6 : Volcano, mountains and plains of Damaraland

It takes about 6 hours to reach the Damaraland region. Possible stopover at Cape Cross. In addition to the variety of landscapes, Damaraland is also home to the last remaining desert elephants. The site of Twyfelfontein and its rock paintings is unique. For the night, here again, some well-kept addresses offer luxurious tents facing sumptuous landscapes of which you will keep an emotional memory.

Day 7 : The Etosha animal park, as close as possible to wildlife

Leaving early, you will reach Etosha National Park in the middle of the morning (about 4 hours by car). To find accommodation, choose from the campsites within the park (Okaukuejo, Halali or Namutoni). Choose a photo safari at dawn or at the end of the day in a 4x4 with a guide, for a better understanding of the fauna and flora, on the fringes of the most travelled paths.

Day 8 : Etosha, second day of safari

A second day will allow you to cross the park in complete freedom. You will share beautiful emotions to observe a whole bunch of wild species that live in harmony with their natural environment.

Day 9 : Return to Windhoek

Take a good day to reach the capital. Possible refund of the rental vehicle at the airport.
