Another typical biotope of the country, the desert invites you to meditate and walk. The Iranian plateau is composed of salt lakes, sand dunes and two major deserts: the great salt desert (Dasht-é Kavir) and the empty desert (Dasht-é Lut). Choose our desert tours and let yourself be seduced by the beauty of the Iranian desert, admire the giant yardangs of Shahdad, go swimming in the fresh water of the springs and search for the hottest spot on the planet. This tour is not offered in June, July and August or in winter, to avoid extreme temperatures.

Day 1 : Dunes around Kashan

Departure from the historic city of Kashan to reach Nan (visit), then the village of Anarak, at the edge of the central desert of Iran. Meal in a 120-year-old caravanserai. Continuation to the village of Garmeh and traditional dinner. Night observation of desert stars. Night in the living room.




Day 2 : Towards the Mesr oasis



Early departure for the Mesr oasis (100 km away). Hiking from 10 to 20 km for 4 to 8 hours depending on the fitness of the group. Stopovers in the dunes to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes of this desert. Sunset in the heart of the desert. Dinner under the stars. Bivouac in tents. Towards nightfall, dinner while contemplating the stars and enjoying the silence.




Day 3 : Garmeh, the city of sands



Wake up at dawn, 15 minutes walk to watch the sunrise over the desert and then return to the camp for breakfast. Dismantling of the camp and hiking until noon. Arrival at Garmeh, shower and lunch on site. Afternoon: discovery of the salt lake ofTabas. Night in Ateshouni.




Day 4 : End of stay in the discovery of Yazd

Lift good time to take advantage of sunrise above Mount Garmeh. By car for. Visit of the historic village of Kharanagh, then the Fire fire temple of Chak-Chak, then the castle of "Naarin Qal-eh", back to the old town of Yazd.
