Trip description

One week will leave you time to visit the capital, Doha, while discovering the rest of the country and swimming on the qataries beaches.

Day 1 : Arrival and relaxation

To erase the fatigue fatigue, quiet morning in the freshness of the splendid Islamic Arts Museum, lunch at the Ducasse Café on site or the Waqif nearby. Quiet afternoon at the swimming pool or on the hotel beach, walk to the sunset on the Corniche and dinner at the Sheraton's Italian terrace, or in the Orangery's atmosphere in front of La Cigale.




Day 2 : Art and shopping

Morning at Mathaf Museum of Modern Art, possible hook by mall Villaggio, lunch at Pearl in front of yachts. Afternoons, then leave for an evening at the Souq Waqif, in the heart of the animated alleys, cups in cafés shisha. Oriental dinner at random from the street or good Italian gueuleton at Dolce Vita.




Day 3 : Northern Visit

Excursion in the north by a loop of less than 200 km via Zubarah fort, the persian shoreline and a bath on the lovely beach of KM 42. At the end of the day, photo stopover on Al Khor corniche, night at the Sultan Resort or return to Doha.




Day 4 : Breathtaking landscapes

Excursion west in 4 x 4 to discover the Martian landscape of the Ras Abrouq peninsula north of Zekreet. Picnic and swim, tracking of Film City. On the way back, possible step at Shahaniyah's camelodrome. Dinner at the Trader Vic's of the Hilton and after the Sky View.




Day 5 : Sea and desert



Early morning departure for the excursion to the south by 4x4 to the inland sea, which can be reached in two hours. Car cruise in the dunes, swimming and picnic. Return calculated before the night at Sealine Beach Resort, night on site.




Day 6 : Laziness



A day of pure rest on the beautiful beach and in the pools of the Sealine, spa treatments, camel rides, quads rental, Jet Ski, ice-cold beer under the hut. Overnight on site.




Day 7 : Qatari gastronomy

On the way back to Doha, stop to visit the Al Wakrah pearl fishing district, fish lunch at Sharq Village or flambé chicken at Nando's, stopover on the Msheireb barge near the Sheraton and elegant evening at the W Market or Ramsay at St Regis.
