1 hour east of Santo Domingo, Boca Chica offers to taste seafood before diving into the turquoise waters of the natural pools. It is not the sexiest beach on the island, but it is easy to stop there on the way to Bayahibe.

Las Terrenas's main attraction lies in the tens of kilometres of white sandy beaches, bathed by water with turquoise reflections at ideal temperature and protected by a coral reef. Offshore, the whales of the Whale are the horizon. And you will not be lost because 10% of the population is made up of French expatriates.

Here the time stops, simplicity invades the traveller, and it makes a stop, which is sometimes prolonged, so we feel good in Las Galeras. A small community of foreigners animates local tourism.
