Discovery of 4 vineyards & lunch in a typical family inn

All the vineyards of the Combe de Savoie are located at an altitude between 250 and 500 m on the steep slopes of the Bauges massif.

Cevins and Saint Pierre de Soucy have an impressive slope of 60 degrees. The work in the vineyards is difficult, everything has to be done manually.

This Route des Vins de la Combe de Savoie, is an invitation to taste about twenty grape varieties, including 2 A.O.C. wines.

Set off to discover the vineyards of Montmélian, Arbin, Cruet and Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte located only a few kilometers from your accommodation, and enjoy a breathtaking view over the surrounding mountains and the Massif des Bauges !

Day 2 : CHIGNIN AND APREMONT VINEYARDS

Discovery of 2 vineyards in Apremont & 2 vineyards in Chignin - Lunch in a restaurant specialized in Savoyard terroir

Located at the foot of the Massif des Bauges, the village of Chignin benefits from exceptional conditions: a South to South-East exposure, protection from North winds by the mountains, a soil made of limestone, steep slopes. All these elements contribute to the production of an emblematic Savoyard wine.

Not far from there, the Apremont vine has also found an environment conducive to its development, thanks to exceptional sunshine and a predominantly limestone and stony soil due in particular to the landslide of Mont Granier more than 750 years ago.

Meet the winegrowers of Chignin and Apremont, stop at the villages of Myans or Marches, and fall under the charm of these small Savoyard villages.

The nearby lake of Saint André is also worth the detour!

Day 3 : JONGIEUX VINEYARDS

Discovery of 4 little-known vineyards located in the Savoyard "Avant Pays Savoyard".

In the heart of an exceptional setting located between the Rhône and the mountains, at the crossroads of the Alps and the geological massif of the Jura, crossed by the road to Compostela, the Jongieux vineyard reveals sumptuous landscapes composed of hills and valleys located at 350 m of altitude.

Between continental and Mediterranean climates, this sloping vineyard benefits from abundant rainfall and a more or less clayey soil. The Jongieux vineyard dates from the 16th century but its history remains unknown.

Stroll through the vineyards and enjoy a visit followed by a wine tasting in a renowned estate.

Continue your day with a gourmet meal in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Enjoy refined and creative cuisine in a charming inn perched at the top of the hillside of the famous Marestel vineyard.

Don't hesitate to stop at the Lac du Bourget on your way down !
