The high season runs over two periods in Bosnia: summer and winter. In summer, from May to September, the sun is at the meeting and it is never too hot. As for winter, this is a very good season for snowfans with good tracks in the Sarajevo area and Travnik.

Bosnia's climate is relatively nice all year round. From semi-continental to central and eastern Bosnia, it is Mediterranean in Herzegovina. Summers are often hot and sunny, while winters often offer snow on more than half of the territory, without it being too cold.
