A break around the great Italian lakes

Nestled between Switzerland and Milan, at the height of the mighty Alps, the lake system of the great Italian lakes offers breathtaking panoramas. If stations have installed on the banks of the water, they never alter the prospects of the sites. Here's a three-day route around the main lakes - Major, Orta and Como - which can be extended as it pleases.

Discover the western shore of Lake Maggiore. Stresa, the most famous resort, then Baverno where you will visit the Villa Taranto park and its beautiful botanical garden, which gathers a large collection of exotic plants. Then the Borromées Islands: Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Bella for its sumptuous Italian gardens.

Leave Lake Maggiore for Cannero Riviera, a climate station whose houses are planted in the middle of vineyards, orange, lemon and olive trees. Adjacent to the station, the ruins of the della Malpaga castles are to be visited. Next, join the smallest and most graceful of the Lombards lakes: . From Orta, possibility to join the island of San Giulio by the boat.




Day 3 : Como Lakes

The third and final step is this trip, the beautiful lakes of Como, which one will cross to join Bellagio, the most beautiful station in the lake. Visit the city and above all the gardens of Villa Serbelloni. Then go to Como to visit the amazing silk museum, before leaving for Lecco the time of a drink on the terrace hoping to see some stars of cinema.
