Along the Karakoram and the Silk Road

Trip description

This route favours the northern part of the country. The Karakoram Highway, which links Pakistan with China, replaces or borders certain sections of the former and mythical Silk Route. Asphalt replaced the land and freight trucks succeeded the caravans, but wonder remains intact.
