Combination of Réunion and Indian Ocean

Trip description

In 2010, a concept was developed to enhance the tourist attraction of the Indian Ocean area: "Vanilla Islands", vanilla is a plant element common to Réunion, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles and Comoros. The goal is to strengthen inter-island combination. In 2014, the regional company Air Austral launched the "Pass Ile Vanille", offering special rates on flights from Paris, with a minimum of two stopovers on these various islands. The company has also started its Reunion-Seychelles airline again.
