The stay can begin with a visit to the capital. To look at the different facets, climb on the hill that dominates the city: Cerro Ancón, then walk to the Causeway, where the view on the bridge of the Americas is Breathtaking. As a family, you can visit the museum of Biodiversity designed by Franck Ghery.

In the morning, breathe in the metropolitan natural park, the capital's green lung. Rent a bike to ride along the modern district to the Casco Viejo and sit at the fish market.




Day 3 : Discovery of Isla Taboga



 A 1 hour boat ride from Panama, the charming island of Isla Taboga, where Paul Gauguin or, better, the Las Perlas Islands, can be reached.

Departure by tourist train to Colón. After visiting the new locks of Agua Clara, reach Fort San Lorenzo or the village of Portobelo (whose ruins are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site).




Day 5 : The pirate island...

Return to Panama and change decor. Departure for Yí del Toro by plane, at the meeting of the Afro-Antillean community that animates this Caribbean coast. Visit of the few communities Ngäbe Buglé who live there and open to tourism.

Day 11 : Fertile Valley and National Parks



Citrus and vegetables grow wonderfully in this fertile valley. Nearby national parks are the refuge of many birds, including the famous quetzal.

 More south of the peninsula: . Practice of fishing and diving. Not far away, thousands of turtles come to drop their eggs every year, probably charmées by the long beaches, whose rollers are also very popular with surfers.




Day 15 : Robinson Crusoé



Isla Iguana: this small desert and coral island off Pedasí is a protected natural area. It is very easy to go there with one of the fishermen in the village. There are humpback whales between July and September...

Back on the Pan American coast, where you can choose between the freshness of El Valle, a small village in the middle of a volcanic crater, and the beautiful white sandy beach of Santa Clara. From El Valle, where a handicraft market is held on Sunday, there are many hikes.
