Day 6 : Nizwa Jabrine Bahla.

Departure for the discovery of the Bahla Fort which is protected by Unesco in 1987. The Bahla oasis owes its prosperity to the Banu Nabhan, who imposed themselves on the other communities between the 12th century and the end of the 15th century. Their power is attested by the ruins of the huge fort with its mud brick walls and towers and stone base.

After visiting the fort, walk through the remains of the old houses and stop at a pottery factory with a demonstration of this age-old technique.

Continue to Jabrin, one of the most beautiful forts in Oman, also dating from the 17th century.

Return to Nizwa, ancient capital and cultural place of importance. Already by its fort, one of the most famous of the country. A visit to the Nizwa Fort is a good way to learn more about the history of Oman. You can also take a walk in the nearby souk, which still retains its authenticity and is mostly frequented by locals who come to haggle and shop. If you are there on a Friday, go early in the morning to the livestock market in the souk. It is a place where farmers and merchants meet to sell or buy animals of all kinds (cows, goats, sheep...). A change of scenery is guaranteed.

Night at Al Bustan Inn Nizwa.

Breakfast included.

Day 7 : Al Hamra Misfat Al Abryeen Mascate

On the last day of your tour, you will start your visit with Al Hamra, a small sleepy village surrounded by a horde of date palms. The pretty deserted village has no fort but has some interesting buildings: some old towers watching for visitors and a number of traditional adobe houses clinging to the mountain. Abandoned and in ruins for the most part, the latter give a truly singular charm to the place.

Visit one of them called "Bait Al Safa" to discover the art of living in the 16th century.

Take the direction of Misfat Al Abryeen. It is a village perched on the side of the mountain, partly hidden in a palm grove. Leave the car at the entrance and continue on foot. The narrow streets, houses and structure of the village exude a charm unmatched in the country. Certainly one of the most beautiful in Oman. Its green vegetation is conducive to a soothing moment.

In the afternoon return to Muscat.

Overnight at the Sheraton Muscat 5* Hotel.

Breakfast included.

Day 8 : Bandar Al Khayran

You can then admire the spectacle of the rocky mountains and small white houses overlooking the sea; you also pass the magnificent beaches of the Al Bustan Palace and Shagri-La Barr al Jissah hotels. In Bandar Al Khairan, you can see a lot of coral, which is home to many different kinds of living creatures and fish. This is a particularly popular spot for divers.
