Here is a suggested itinerary with arrival in Urguentch and return from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This requires that you have on your passport a multiple-entry Uzbek visa, a Turkmen transit visa, and a border crossing permit for Murgab, Tajikistan.

Visit Khiva and visit the desert citadels. Add another two to three days to make a trip to Nukus to visit the Savitsky Museum or push to Moynaq, the Uzbek port on the ancient Aral Sea.

Visit of Uzs and excursion to the desert citadels.




Day 4 : Towards Turkmenistan



Pass the border of Turkmenistan (simple transit visa) to visit Konye-Urgench.
