Trip description

It is a little short time to hope to know Nicaragua well. It is possible, however, to see some of its large destinations, very different from one another: the most famous colonial city, one of the most beautiful islands in the world and finally the most famous coastal city in the country. This stay begins and ends in Managua, the capital.

Hardly arrived in Managua, no dead time, go to Granada. This fabulous colonial town has an active nightlife and many activities during the day.

Take the opportunity to visit the Masaya Volcano National Park. The Mombacho volcano, the Pueblos blancos or the Apoyo lagoon are also nearby.




Day 3 : The island of Ometepe



Continue your way to Ometepe Island. It is advisable to leave in the morning to take the bus to Rivas and then the boat from San Jorge to Moyogalpa, one of the island's cities. Rest there if the night is already here




Day 4 : Fine sandy beaches and green landscapes



Many discoveries await you such as Santo Domingo (the most beautiful beach on the island), the magnificent sunset from Punta Jesús María, the legends of the Charco Verde lagoon, and the many scenes of rural life.




Day 5 : Excursion and various activities



Relax by the lake or basin of the Ojo de Agua, climb the Maderas volcano. Many activities are possible

Ascend Lake Nicaragua and join San Juan del Sur. It is the Nicaraguan surf city.




Day 7 : Surf Day



Surf or walk on the beach during the day, celebrate the evening: good planning in perspective.

Route to Masaya. The end of the stay is approaching, and it is time to shop in its markets, renowned to be the best in the country with memories.
