After breakfast, en route for the first day of exploration of Petra with an optional English-speaking guide for 2-3 hours

You will devote yourself to a whole day at the "Pink City", to explore this fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon, you can then stroll freely in the ancient city.

Petra is a legacy of the Nabataeans, a hardworking Arab nation that settled in the southern tip of Jordan over 2,000 years ago. Renowned for its refined culture, majestic cave architecture and ingenious irrigation system, this lost city enchants visitors from all over the world.

On the program of your visit: the Tomb of the Obelisks, the Siq, the Khazneh, the Amphitheater). Forgotten by the West, Petra has been living again since 1812 after its discovery by a Swiss traveler, Johann Ludwig Burckhardt, who managed to enter this jealously protected site by claiming to be an Arab from India, to make a sacrifice at the tomb of prophet Aaron. A discovery that will leave you speechless.

Day 3 : Second day in Petra

After breakfast en route for the second day of exploration through an Indiana Jones hike! On the program: the Madras path, the high place of sacrifice and Wadi Farasa to the serpent monument.

Day 4 : Wadi Rum

Transfer to Wadi Rum for an unforgettable day in the desert.

After your installation at the camp, you will be able to enjoy this desert with multiple colors. "Vast resounding, in the image of God": these are the words that Lawrence of Arabia said to describe the largest and most majestic of the Jordanian deserts. You will dive into this breathtaking place, timeless and left almost untouched by men, lasting all day. A monolithic rock labyrinth extends from the ground up to over 1,700 m in height. Hikers will appreciate the calm of the infinite spaces, will explore the canyons and the gueltas to discover drawings on 4,000-year-old rocks and the other prodigious treasures of this desert immensity.

You will admire the sunset before enjoying a magical typical Bedouin evening. You will then spend the night in this Bedouin camp, in a traditional tent.

Day 5 : Discovering the dead sea

After breakfast, you will take the road to the Dead Sea for a unique experience.

Free time for activities in waters nine times saltier than ordinary water. Located almost 420m below sea level, its coast, partially inhabited, is very peaceful. Its landscapes have hardly changed since ancient times. You can relax in the water, lapping at the whim, and see with wonder that you don't sink! Enjoy a strange but delicious experience: "floating" on the surface of the water,

Day 6 : Dead sea - Ajloun - Jerash Amman

After breakfast, we continue the exploration towards Ajloun, the landscapes are superb to visit the restored fortified castle of Qala'at ar-Rabad, located on a hill, from where the view of Tiberias and Judea is fantastic . Ajloun Castle dominated the three main access routes to the Jordan Valley and protected the trade routes between Jordan and Syria.

Then on the way to for the visit of Jerash, the second most important archaeological site after Petra. It is one of the most beautiful preserved Roman cities in the Near East, "the city of 1000 pillars". It was founded at the end of the 4th century BC. You will be able to discover its colonnades, its temples, its theaters, its churches, its racecourse and its incomparable oval square.

At the end of the afternoon return to Amman.

You will enjoy a free walk around the city before your driver takes you to the airport for your return flight
