Day 1 : Arrival in Tehran

Arrival in Tehran, the Iranian capital, located at the foot of Mount Alborz. Welcome by the representative of SITO travel agency. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.




Day 2 : Téhéran - Tabriz

We start by visiting the capital: the National Museum of Iran, the Golestan Palace, the Crown Jewels Museum.

Transfer to Mehrabad airport to catch the domestic flight to Tabriz. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 3 : Tabriz

Visit of the capital of East Azerbaijan: the Azerbaijan Museum, the Blue Mosque, the Tabriz Bazaar.

Afternoon dedicated to the excursion to the village of Kandovan, famous for its houses carved in volcanic rocks, located in a beautiful valley of Mount Sahand with a picturesque view. 

Return to Tabriz. A walk in the garden of Shah Goli (El Goli).

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 4 : Kara Kelisa- Jolfa

Day trip to the beautiful Kara Kelisa or Black Church, one of the oldest and most remarkable Christian monuments remaining in Iran and of great importance to the Armenian Orthodox community in the country.

Afterwards, visit the Church of St. Stephanos. It is located in a mountainous area where the river Aras (Gihon in the Bible) flows through the valley of the Iranian border, a few steps from the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan. 

Return to Tabriz. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 5 : Qazvin- Téhéran

Departure to Tehran. On the way, we will stop in the city of Soltaniyeh to visit the largest brick dome in the world, and then continue to Qazvin, the former Safavid capital.

During our visit to Qazvin, we will walk through the elegant corridor of the Saray-e Sa'd al-Saltaneh, one of the most spectacular places in the traditional bazaar of Qazvin.

In the evening, arrival in Tehran. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 6 : Qom-Kashan

Departure for Kashan. On the way, visit one of the holy cities of Iran to see a shrine dedicated to Hazrat-e Masumeh, the daughter of the seventh Imam Musa ibn Ja'far and sister of Ali ibn Musa al-Reza, the eighth Imam of the Shiites.

Arrival in Kashan, visit of the beautiful Fin Garden, the hammam of Sultan Ahmad. We will end the day with a visit to the Agha Bozorg School-Mosque. The mosque which has been described as "the most beautiful Islamic complex in Kashan".

Dinner at a restaurant and overnight at the hotel.




Day 7 : Ardestan- Naein- Meybod- Yazd

Departure to Yazd but before leaving Kashan, visit of Khan-e Tabatabaei (the house of the Tabatabaei). 

On the way we visit the two ancient mosques of Ardestan and Naein and the historical centre with the Bazaar, which has fallen into disuse today.

We will also visit the town of Meybod with its hand painted ceramic workshops, caravanserai and ice house.

Arrival in Yazd. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 8 : Yazd

Breakfast. Full day tour of the city, one of the most interesting in Iran and the ancient Zoroastrian centre.

Visits of the day: Temple of Fire, Friday Mosque, Fahadan Ancient Quarter, Water Museum, Towers of Silence, Mausoleum of Seyed Rokn od-Din, Cenotaph of the 12 Imams, Ancient Bazaar of Yazd and Amir Chakhmagh Complex.

In the evening, you will visit Zur-Khaneh, a typical Iranian place dedicated to traditional Iranian sports. (The visit depends on the days and times of the training sessions).

Dinner in a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.




Day 9 : Abarkuh- Pasargades- Shiraz

In the morning we leave for Shiraz, and halfway to Pasargadae we will visit the city of Abarkuh.

On the way, visit the archaeological site of Pasargadae, the first capital of the Persian Empire, founded in 546 BC by Cyrus the Great.

Arrival in Shiraz. Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.




Day 10 : Persépolis- Shiraz

In the morning we leave for Persepolis, a holy city, built by Darius in 524 BC, to celebrate Nowruz (new day) or the Persian New Year (March 21).

Back to Shiraz, we will visit: Saray-e Moshir, the Vakil complex, the mausoleum of Hafez.

Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.




Day 11 : Naqsh-e Rostam- Ispahan

In the morning, after breakfast and before leaving for Isfahan, we will visit the Nasir Mosque in Shiraz, one of the beauties of the trip to Iran.

On the way to Isfahan, we will visit the archaeological site Naqsh-e Rostam, a must-see necropolis, which still guard the stone tombs of the great Achaemenid kings.

At the end of the day we arrive in Esfahan, one of the most beautiful cities in Iran. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 12 : Ispahan

Breakfast and then the day is spent walking around the city and visiting the craft shops.

Sites to visit: Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Shah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Chehel Sotoun Palace.

Dinner in the restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.




Day 13 : Ispahan

Another day to spend in the beautiful city of Esfahan, visiting the Vank Cathedral, the Great Friday Mosque of Esfahan, the bridges over the Zayandeh-Rud river: the 33-arched bridge (Sio Se Pol) and the Khaju bridge (Pol-e-Kaju).

Free visit. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight at the hotel.




Day 14 : Natanz- Abyaneh- Airport

En route, you will visit the city of Natanz, to admire its Friday mosque, "Masjed Jameh", and the mausoleum of Abdol-Samad.

On the way, visit one of the oldest traditional villages in Iran "Abyaneh".

The journey continues to the airport. Dinner and short rest at IBIS hotel near the airport.
