Flight to the Pacific
A car will take you from the hotel to Medellín Airport (EOH). Journey time: about 15 minutes. Domestic flight to Nuquí (not included). The Pacific coast stretches from the border with Panama to that with Ecuador over a length of 1,300 km. This region has the greatest biodiversity in the country and it is the least populated. The Pacific is also the tropical rainforest, mangroves, virgin beaches, surprising biodiversity, whales, and Black communities of African descent. El Almejal has its own nature reserve, an ecosystem specific to tropical forests that the hotel dedicates to conservation and raising awareness about ecology and responsible tourism. Guatapé, an atypical and colorful village

Free time to explore this charming little village on your own and, why not, take an excursion to the rock known as Piedra el Peñol. The "Piedra del Peñol" is a 220-meter monolith, an enormous granitic mass composed of quartz, feldspar and mica, which was climbed in 1954 by a local resident, Luis Eduardo Villegas López. Guatapé has gained popularity over the years, not only for this unusual rock, but also because, from the top of the stairs, you can see extraordinary lagoons where it is possible to go boating (or practice other water sports).
