Ait Tigga / Azib Iriri (2300 m)
The stage linking Aït Tigga to Azib Iriri offers a gradual ascent from the inhabited valleys to the high plateaus of Siroua. Leaving the small Berber village of Aït Tigga, surrounded by terraced crops, the trail winds through fields and wadis, offering a glimpse of traditional rural life, between agricultural work and livestock breeding. As the ascent progresses, the landscapes become more mineral, revealing the volcanic formations typical of the massif. Vegetation becomes scarcer, giving way to pastures frequented by nomadic shepherds and to open panoramas over the surrounding mountains. Night in bivouac. Duration: 6 h of walking

Azib Iriri / Azib Azazegzane (2500 m)
From Azib Iriri (2 300 m), you make your way through the volcanic highlands of Siroua to Azib Azazegzane, a high-altitude sheepfold site used by Berber herders. The trail crosses rocky valleys and mineral plateaus, offering spectacular panoramas of the surrounding peaks. You may come across herds watched over by nomadic shepherds before reaching the bivouac at 2 500 m, in a wild and authentic setting, under a starry sky. Duration: 5 h of walking

Azib Azazegzane / Iferd Magos (2600 m)From Azib Azazegzane (2 500 m), the route leads to Iferd Magous (2 800 m) via a gentle high-altitude traverse, skirting Jbel Siroua without making the ascent. The trail crosses volcanic plateaus, arid valleys and high-altitude pastures, offering open panoramas over the southern valleys and the summit of Siroua in the distance. This moderate stage, punctuated by regular ascents and descents, takes place in a calm and isolated setting, conducive to contemplation. Night in bivouac. Duration: 6 h of walking

Iferd Magous / Ascension Jebel Siroua/Tagragra (2400 m)
From Iferd Magous (2 600 m), the route gradually climbs toward the summit of Jbel Siroua (3 304 m), through a mineral and volcanic landscape. The ascent, non-technical but physically demanding, ends on a scree slope offering a spectacular panorama: to the north, the ridges of the High Atlas; to the south, the foothills of the Anti-Atlas. The descent toward Tagragra (2 400 m) follows a gentler south-east-facing slope, with beautiful grazing areas and dry-stone sheepfolds. Night in bivouac. Duration: 6 h of walking

Tagragra / Jebel Guiliz/Azib Tizgui (2300 m)
From Tagragra (2 400 m), the route gradually climbs toward Jebel Guiliz (2 900 m), a secondary summit offering a circular panorama over the massif and the surrounding valleys. The descent then leads to Azib Tizgui (2 200–2 300 m), a peaceful transhumance site, surrounded by pastures and green slopes. Night in a bivouac, in a calm setting conducive to rest. Azib Tizgui / the village and waterfalls of Tizgui / Ait Oubyal valley, night in the village of Tislite (1680 m)From Azib Tizgui (2 200 m), the stage gradually descends through the alpine pastures to the green valley of Tizgui. The route crosses agricultural terraces, fields and almond trees, and allows a detour to the Tizgui waterfalls depending on the season. The descent continues into the valley of the Aït Oubyal, fertile and inhabited, before reaching the village of Tislite, where you spend the night in a guesthouse or with a local, in a peaceful and welcoming setting. Duration: 5 to 6 h of walking

Tislite Village / Laarba souk / return by minibus to MarrakechThe last day of the trek connects the village of Tislite to Laarbaâ N’Tazart. The walk is short (about 45 minutes) and descends through orchards, terraced crops and small Berber hamlets, down to the point where the drivable road is accessible. It is generally here that the minibus picks up the hikers for the return transfer to Marrakech. Duration: 45 min walking + 5 h by car
