The Seychelles are reopening their doors to travelers from March 25! Now, almost all of us can head to the radiant sunshine of the Seychelles. Unfortunately, travelers coming from South Africa are not allowed to enter the territory, as it is a country placed on the red list due to its situation.
For those who want to escape to a paradise destination at Easter: it is possible. Indeed, the Seychelles have a significant need for tourism due to the economic difficulty created by the health situation. So, to protect its population and prevent the return of tourism, they have launched a strong vaccination campaign.
The government has decided not to impose an optimal vaccination status, but only the classic PCR test (to be taken no more than 72 hours before your departure). In our previous articles, we mentioned mandatory quarantines in certain destinations; this is absolutely not to be expected in your holiday program. Moreover, on site, there are no contradictions regarding travel. The only requirement remains booking in certain specialized and verified hotels for the occasion, which represent more than 200 establishments prepared to deal with situations related to the coronavirus: so you will have plenty of choice!
So, starting today, the borders are reopening and this also marks the resumption of the local airline. You can therefore leave without worry, while continuing to respect barrier gestures (wearing a mask, social distancing, etc.). So, all you have to do is go and book your tickets!
