day 1
Arrival in Muscat
- Today, your arrival is planned in Muscat. Upon your arrival at Muscat airport, our representative will pick you up and drop you at your hotel of stay. - Overnight stay at the 4* Al Murooj Grand Hotel.
day 2
Nizwa: The Historical City
- Today, we will start our trip at 8:30 am and drive straight towards Nizwa city. - Upon arrival, we will first take you to the massive Nizwa Fort, built during the 16th-century Portuguese dynasty. This fort holds significant value in the history of Oman and now also offers cultural activities for its visitors. - Next, we will visit the nearby Nizwa traditional souq. This market is famous for its locals selling handmade products such as handicrafts, jewelry, frankincense, and more. You can buy some souvenirs for your friends and family. - Later in the evening, you will go for a walk at Al Aqur Wall. From there, you can capture views of the surrounding villages like Falaj Daris and experience the heritage of this city. - Lastly, you will spend the night in Nizwa. - Overnight stay at Al Aqur View Inn, Nizwa (heritage-style hotel).
day 3
Explore the Sugar Dunes of Khaluf
- Today, we will start our exciting journey of exploration from Nizwa to the Khaluf region. - We will cross mountains and small villages to reach Khaluf. This will be a long drive, but a worthwhile one. - Upon arrival, we will take you to the Sugar Dunes, where the white sand desert merges into the blue waters. This combination is so fascinating that you will be amazed. - Here, you can peacefully explore nature, as this place is less frequented by tourists. - You will also visit the secret cave of Khaluf. - Lastly, you will be dropped at your resort for dinner and an overnight stay. - Overnight accommodation will be booked at Sugar Dunes Resort.
day 4
Explore the Golden Sand Dunes of the Wahiba Desert
- Today, we will depart from Khaluf and drive to explore the golden sands desert of Wahiba. - We will drive by Jalan Bani Bu Ali and Al Ashkara, which are in the Sharqiyah region. These cities are considered the economic hub for fishers. You will pass by beautiful beaches and might get a chance to meet the fishermen. - Upon reaching the Wahiba Sands, our experienced driver will take you inside the dunes and showcase his dune bashing skills. You will enjoy the bumpy ride into the sands. - Later, he will take you to the highest dunes to relax and watch the sunset. - Your dinner and overnight stay are planned in the desert. - Overnight accommodation will be at Desert Rose Camp or Arabian Oryx Camp.
day 5
Explore the Dashing Valley of Wadi Bani Khalid
- Today, we will depart from the desert at 10:00 am and drive towards the most gorgeous natural valley of Oman, Wadi Bani Khalid. - This valley is known for its natural water pools surrounded by a scenic landscape. You can swim in the waters of this valley. - Next, we will drive back to Muscat. On the way, we will stop at the ruins of Mudheireb. These old houses date back 400 years. - Finally, we will return to Muscat and drop you at your hotel. - An overnight stay is planned at the 4* Al Murooj Grand Hotel.
day 6
Explore Dimaniyat Island with snorkeling (sharing basis)
- Today, you will explore the Sea of Oman on your Dimaniyat Island trip. - You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and taken to the activity point. You will start the tour by speedboat, which will take you to Dimaniyat Island. - On the way, the captain will stop for a snorkeling activity. You will have the chance to dive underwater and experience the marine life of the Oman Sea. You will see many types of fish, huge turtles, and coral reefs. - After this stop, we will dock the boat at one of the white beaches of Dimaniyat, where you can relax and enjoy banana boating. - Once you are on the way back to Muscat, you will be served lunch boxes on the boat. - After arriving back at the activity point, we will drop you off at the airport. - An overnight stay is planned at the 4* Al Murooj Grand Hotel.
