  • day 1

    Arrival in Maun

    Upon your arrival in Maun, the capital of Botswana, you will be welcomed by your guide and driver, who will take you to your Sedia hotel so that you can rest after this long flight.

  • day 2

    Discovery of the Moremi Reserve

    Today, you will leave the capital Maun for a 2-day journey within the Moremi Game Reserve, located to the east of the Okavango Delta. After this 6-hour drive, you will be able to discover the diversity of Botswana's fauna and flora. You will see a variety of birds along these channels, as well as mammals such as the elusive otter and the majestic lechwe. If you are lucky, you may spot an elephant cooling off in the clear waters or observe the shy sitatunga. After this immersion in Botswana's nature, you will dine under the stars and spend the night in a private camp in the heart of the Okavango Delta's waterways.

    Boat trip

    You will continue with the discovery of the Moremi Reserve, including a boat excursion on the main channels and lagoon systems in the northern part of the Okavango Delta. Your guide will be happy to explain in detail the fascinating history of this nature reserve. After your picnic in this picturesque part of Moremi, you can continue your visits in complete tranquility.

    Visit of the village of Khwai

    This morning, you will head towards the village of Khwai, located at the eastern end of the Okavango Delta. During your safari, you will have the opportunity to discover the very rich biodiversity of this place. You will be able to observe lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, impalas, but also the kudu, an African mammal belonging to the bovidae family. The animals are attracted by the narrow ribbon of water, which allows for spectacular wildlife observation. This safari is an opportunity for you to experience something new and to breathe the pure air of this country.

    Exploration of the village of Khwai

    After a good early breakfast taken at your camp, you can enjoy this day by strolling through the village at your own pace, while admiring the beauty of this place. We also recommend that you meet the local population of Khwai and discover the unique aspects of their culture.

    Discovery of the Savuti Nature Reserve

    Very early this morning, you will begin a long journey of 6 to 7 hours to the Savuti Nature Reserve, located in the north of the country. Throughout your journey, you will be dazzled by the grandeur of this wild region. Savuti is located in an ancient lake, dotted with small rocky hills (kopjes), some of which are home to ancient rock paintings. This is an opportunity to explore the Savuti River marsh and especially the abundant wildlife of this timeless place. You will also have the chance to encounter the many elephants and lions, as well as wild dogs and many other terrestrial mammals. Savuti is a favorite place for wildlife photographers and filmmakers, and many wildlife documentaries have been filmed here.

    Safari in the Savuti Nature Reserve

    On this new day, you will discover in depth the African savannah of Savuti during an unforgettable safari.
