Day 1-4: Johannesburg - Kruger National ParkWe leave Johannesburg at 7 a.m. (see information before departure) and spend the next 4 days in Kruger National Park exploring this 2-million-hectare paradise, home to the Big Five species, as well as a great diversity of birds and plants. Our nights are spent in different tented camps and bungalows, both main and private, throughout the park, with nights 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 in two different camps. Optional night safari available*.
day 2
Day 5, 6 and 7: Private reserveAfter breakfast and a morning safari, we leave Kruger National Park to head to a magnificent private game reserve, well known for the reintroduction of animals into the wild and the hand-rearing of orphaned animals, where we spend 3 nights. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, as well as bush walks. It may even be possible to touch a wild cheetah. Dinner is served in a traditional "Boma" around a blazing fire. (B/L/D) Please note: Safaris in the private reserve are conducted in the reserve's standard vehicles and we will transfer you to the standard safari seats. We have additional straps to help you keep your balance if necessary. Walking or moving in a wheelchair in the bush can be difficult for wheelchair users in dry conditions, i.e., on soft sand.
