In the morning, you will be picked up by our driver-guide, who will take you to Jinja via Sezibwa Falls and the Kingdom of Buganda. The Kingdom of Buganda is a large and historically influential traditional kingdom in the central region of present-day Uganda, with its capital in Kampala. Founded around the 13th century, it grew to become the dominant power in the Great Lakes region by the 19th century through conquest and alliances. Governed by a king, the Kabaka, its culture is rich with traditions, spiritual beliefs, and a distinct language, Luganda, which plays a central role in its identity. Though abolished in 1966, the kingdom was restored in 1993 and continues to exist as a semi-autonomous monarchy within Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Kingfisher Hotel or Nile Explorer.
