• day 1

  Day 1: Hanoi - Cat Ba - Halong Bay / 180 km

  Lunch and dinner 7:15 am: Meet your driver in Hanoi, who will take you to Haiphong in a private car (4 hours on the expressway). Board your private junk boat. Cross the floating village of Cat Ba and find yourself in the heart of the karst landscapes of the bay. The crew will anchor the boat in a peaceful spot for a lunch break. While they prepare a lunch of fish and seafood for you, you can swim (depending on the weather) or take the small bamboo boat (traditional in the bay) to explore the surroundings. After a short digestive nap, hoist the sails for an afternoon of sailing in the bay. You can take the helm under the watchful eye of the captain. Before sunset, reach a secluded cove in Lan Ha Bay for the night. Dinner and overnight on board, on the deck of the boat or in the cabin.

  Day 2: Halong Bay - Cat Ba - Hanoi / 180 km

  Breakfast, lunch Wake up in a magical setting and enjoy these first moments of calm in the day. After a good breakfast, the junk will set off again to continue the discovery. You can visit a small inland sea accessible by rowing boat, meet a fishing family, and try your hand at line fishing. Stop for the last lunch before reaching Cat Ba around 12pm. You will take a tour of the Cat Ba market. Our driver will be waiting for you there and will take you to your hotel in Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi in the late afternoon.
