Trip Description

This 3-day trip is flexible. You can join an existing group or enjoy it as a solo travel adventure, as our itinerary allows you to meet and travel with other travelers.

Stay program

day 1
Arrival in Kigali, City Tour & Transfer to Musanze
In the morning, our company driver/guide will pick you up from Kigali International Airport. This will be followed by a city tour and lunch in the city center. Afterwards, you will proceed to Musanze town for an overnight stay at Isange Paradise Resort as you prepare for the next early morning drive to the gorilla headquarters.
day 2
Morning gorilla trekking in Rwanda
After breakfast, our driver/guide will take you to the gorilla headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don'ts of gorilla trekking. You will go with a packed lunch, long sleeves, face masks, jungle boots, and a rain jacket. Another night will be spent at Isange Paradise Resort.
day 3
Visit Musanze Market, Caves & Dian Fossey Memorial
After breakfast, you will go to Musanze Cave, which takes 2 hours, followed by a visit to the Dian Fossey Memorial and Musanze market if time allows. After that, proceed to Kigali for your evening flight and end the trip. The estimated drive time is 3-4 hours.
