• day 1

  Dar es Salaam - Selous Game Reserve

  At 7:00 am, your driver-guide, with an open-roof safari vehicle, will pick you up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive you to the Selous reserve, with a stop at Kibiti for breakfast. Enjoy the countryside as you approach the reserve. You will arrive at Selous in the afternoon, just in time for lunch which will be served at 1:00 pm. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can explore the wildlife on the water until evening. In the evening, you will have dinner at 7:30 pm and then spend the night at Africa Safari Camp Selous.

• day 2

  Selous Game Reserve

  You will have your breakfast at 7:00 am, with your lunch box. At 8:00 am, you will leave for a full day safari in the reserve and will be able to observe game as well as elephants, wild dogs, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and the fantastic pride of lions. You will fully enjoy the park until late in the evening, where you will have dinner at 7:30 pm, then spend the night at Africa Safari Camp Selous.

• day 3

  Selous Game Reserve - Dar es Salaam

  At 6:30 am, you will leave for an early morning walking safari and return to your lodge at 9:00 am for breakfast. After your breakfast, you will take your lunch box and start your return journey to Dar es Salaam at 10:00 am.
