Trip Description

This 3-day safari offers a perfect short getaway into Tanzania’s wilderness. You will begin with a game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. After the safari, you will head to Karatu, where you will spend the night in a comfortable lodge surrounded by nature. On the second day, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations and home to the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while observing wildlife in their natural habitat. The safari is conducted in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with a professional driver-guide, ensuring a personalized and comfortable experience.

Accomodation

Accommodation includes 1 double room in a mid-range lodge in Karatu on a full-board basis. Before or after the safari, guests can stay at Njiro Legacy Hotel in Arusha, a 4-star hotel offering comfort, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere.

    Transfer & Tarangire National Park Game Drive

    Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. You will drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park, where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other wildlife species. In the afternoon, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

    Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Return to Arusha

    After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a game drive. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha and be dropped off at Njiro Legacy Hotel or the airport.
