Kigali – Volcanoes National Park & Gorilla Guardian VillageMorning: Depart Kigali early (around 7:00 AM) and drive through Rwanda’s scenic highlands toward Volcanoes National Park (approximately 2–3 hours). Enjoy panoramic views of terraced hills, local villages, and the Virunga volcanoes. Midday: Visit the Gorilla Guardian Village, a community initiative supporting families living near gorilla habitats. Learn about conservation, community programs, and local culture. Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to BwindiEarly Morning: After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on Golden Monkey trekking. Trek into bamboo forests in Volcanoes National Park to observe these rare primates (1–2 hours). Late Morning / Afternoon: Cross the Cyanika/Katuna border into Uganda. Complete immigration formalities en route. Enjoy a scenic drive through rolling hills and rural villages toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (~4–5 hours). Evening: Check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest for an early morning gorilla trek. Accommodation: Bweza Gorilla Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake BunyonyiEarly Morning: Breakfast at the lodge, then report to Bwindi headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Trek into the dense rainforest to find your assigned gorilla family. Trekking duration may vary from 2–6 hours depending on gorilla movements. Midday: Spend one hour observing and photographing gorillas in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. Afternoon: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi (2 hours), a crater lake surrounded by hills and dotted with 29 islands. Evening: Check in at a lakeside lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax. Lake Bunyonyi – KigaliMorning: Breakfast by the lake. Optional boat ride to explore the islands or visit local communities. Late Morning / Afternoon: Begin the drive back to Kigali (3-4 hours). Scenic stops along the way allow for photography and interaction with local communities. Evening: Arrive in Kigali and transfer to the airport or hotel for onward travel. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
