Meet your guide at your hotel in the city of Arusha at 8:30 am, then drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. This national park is one of the most spectacular nature reserves in Tanzania, located at the foot of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of the largest concentrations of African elephants, the unique tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the lake's algae. The Serengeti National Park

    Le Parc national du Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we set out for a full day safari with a picnic in Serengeti National Park, passing through the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. We head towards the central area of the Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, one of the park's richest habitats in terms of wildlife and flora. The Seronera River provides a precious water source to this area and therefore attracts a representative variety of most Serengeti species. After sunset, drive to Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp: https://www.heritagecampsandlodges.com .

    The Serengeti National Park

    Le parc national du Serengeti

Early at 5:30 am, have your breakfast and go on a safari until 8:30 am to return to the Lodge to rest. At 10:00 am, you will leave for a safari in this wonderful national park. Our guides will choose the best observation sites for the time of year. We may spend time at the Hippo pool to watch these majestic animals laze in the cool water, living joyfully alongside crocodiles. You may also observe a large pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, who travel with the wildebeest. This varied and interesting landscape will offer us the ultimate in game viewing. We hope to see all the plains animals: elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions and, if you are lucky, the elusive leopards and cheetahs, as well as a large number of interesting birds. After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for a full day of safari by car, with a picnic lunch, heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, via the historic site of Olduvai Gorge, whose history dates back to the dawn of time. It is here that anthropologists Dr. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of "Nutcracker Man" and "Handy Man," two very important links in the chain of human evolution. Arrival at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge at 3:30 pm and drop off of luggage in the room, then departure for a half-hour drive to the starting point of the walk. You will walk for 2 hours along the edge of the Ngorongoro, through the acacia forest, enjoying a beautiful view of the crater, accompanied by an armed guide. Observation of the Ngorongoro Crater

    Observation du cratère du Ngorongoro

At 6 a.m., have your breakfast and your picnic, then descend more than 600 meters into the bottom of the Ngorongoro Crater for 6 hours of game viewing. The Ngorongoro National Park is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another asset of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, among which are lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the always elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake located in the southwest corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of pink flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen there. Return to Arusha at the end of the day.
