Tarangire National Park is the second largest national park in Tanzania and is well known for its ancient baobabs, climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs in Africa. After breakfast, you will meet our guide and our office representative for a briefing about your safari. After this briefing, you will head to Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch. The drive takes 2 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of grassland plains dotted with ancient baobabs, traditional Maasai houses, and cattle herded by the nomadic people. The luxury hotel will offer guests a comfortable and relaxing environment after a day of wildlife and nature observation.

  • day 3

Route from Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park.

Route du parc national du Tarangire au parc national du Serengeti

The Serengeti is well known for the great migration of wildebeest in the northern part, heading towards the Mara River. It is an unforgettable adventure to have the chance to see all the animals migrate in a clockwise direction each year. If you also wish to spot the Big Five animals (lion, elephant, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo) in a single park, the Serengeti is the ideal place. Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will leave the hotel to head to Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You may have the opportunity to stop in the Ndutu region depending on the time. You will stop for lunch along the way, then head to your hotel, with a safari en route to arrive in the evening.

  • day 4

Observation of the migration of wildebeest in the Northern Serengeti National Park.

Observation de la migration des gnous dans le parc national du Serengeti du Nord

Get up early so you can leave your lodge for a full day of game viewing. Discover the northern half of the great wildebeest migration, which is heading towards the Mara River, following the herds across the plains. It is impressive to witness the annual migration of all these hoofed creatures moving clockwise, pursued by predators. The Serengeti is the best place to see the Big Five animals: lion, elephant, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo. The day ends with a return to the lodge for the night and relaxation.

  • day 5

Departure from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Départ du parc national du Serengeti pour le cratère du Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro is one of the 8 wonders of the world. The crater is an essential shelter for different animal species. The most frequently observed animals are elephants and black rhinos, a vulnerable species. In the crater, you will see large herds of wildebeest, Cape buffalo, zebras, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, hippos, black-backed jackals, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, and nearly 400 species of birds. After breakfast, you will take your lunch box for a morning safari between 8:00 am and 2:30 pm. Then, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, doing a safari en route to the place where you will have dinner and spend the night.

  • day 6

Departure from the Ngorongoro crater to the city of Arusha.

Départ du cratère du Ngorongoro vers la ville d'Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend more than 600 meters into the crater for a full-day safari. You will take a break for lunch, which you will have at the foot of the crater. Visiting the Ngorongoro highlands will allow you to enjoy cool temperatures, forest wildlife (elephants, buffaloes, and leopards), and magnificent views of the craters and mountains. After the excursion, you will drive back to Arusha and be dropped off at the hotel to relax after your safari. If your flight is on the same day, you will be dropped off directly at the airport.
