A high-end safari in the Masai Mara, combined with Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Park. The Maasai Mara is known for its almost guaranteed sightings of the Big 5: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhinoceros. It is also popular for the annual migration of zebras and wildebeest, which takes place from July to October. Lake Nakuru is a national park located at an altitude of 1,754 meters above sea level. It is home to a huge population of flamingos and 400 species of birds, while Amboseli is known for its large herds of elephants and especially for its breathtaking view of Kilimanjaro.

  • day 1

    Safari Day 1

    Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning and we will first stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take some photos of the beautiful landscape. After that, there will be another stop for lunch before continuing our journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be guided to your accommodation to settle in and relax with snacks and coffee. This will be followed by your first afternoon excursion, your first taste of African wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Camp.

  • day 2

    Safari Day 2

    The whole day will be devoted to observing game and exploring the high concentration of wild animals in the park. On the plains, there are huge herds of grazing animals, including the cheetah and the elusive leopard hiding among the acacia branches. In the afternoon, an optional visit to a Masai village can be arranged (entrance fee of 18 euros not included in the package). Here, you will be welcomed by the local people who sing and dance, a sacred ritual that has shaped their rich tradition. Part of the visit includes an insight into their homes and way of life. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Camp.

    Safari Day 3

    We will start the day with an early morning drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Next, we will head to Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is home to an impressive number of both small and large flamingos, turning the lake's shores into a magnificent pink expanse. The park is home to more than 400 species of birds, including white pelicans, plovers, egrets, and marabou storks. It is also one of the few places in Africa where you can see both white and black rhinoceroses as well as the rare Rothschild's giraffe. Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel.

    Safari Day 4

    We will start the day with a morning walk on Lake Nakuru, and will then leave for Amboseli National Park. Overnight at the budget camp.

  • day 5

    Safari Day 5

    We will leave early to admire the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and undertake another long walk before the clouds gather above the summit. Amboseli is an excellent place to observe a multitude of wild animals, such as wildebeest, giraffes, and baboons. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged after breakfast. The Maasai warriors are also known as the proud nomadic tribe, whose legendary prowess in battles and acts of bravery alone against wild animals have spread throughout the world.

    We leave early in the morning for a car ride and return to Nairobi in the afternoon.
