    Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Parc National de Tarangire

Your private safari guide will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am, then you will head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large number of elephants. The sun gives the land a rusty red hue as it rises on the horizon. The grass is brittle during the dry months; you can hear the crunch as animals walk on the straw. The river keeps its surroundings lush; however, it has withered, as at the end of the dry season, keeping the animals near the banks and the wildlife active throughout the year. The air is cool, sheltered from the afternoon sun. The baboons are not bothered by the vehicle as they continue on their way, active in the sun, searching for food, boisterous among the troop, then eventually settle down and head to the river to quench their thirst. In the late afternoon, as the baboons head to the water, you leave the park and return to the comfort of your lodge for dinner and the night. Serengeti National Park

    Parc National du Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we collect our lunch boxes and our journey takes us west and north, our exciting destination being a name familiar to everyone: the Serengeti! Along the way, the vastness of the land and the raw beauty of the landscapes are revealed, and your driver-guide will help you spot animals and birds. This is just a glimpse of things to come, as the Serengeti is home to what is probably the largest gathering of wild animals in the world. After enjoying a picnic, you will look forward to more wildlife viewing opportunities in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in grasslands, savannah, woodlands, and mountain landscapes, which creature will appear next? These "endless plains" are home to elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, and crocodiles. The adventure has truly begun. In the late afternoon, exhausted and exhilarated, your driver-guide will take you to your accommodation for dinner and the night. Full day of wildlife observation in the Serengeti.

Journée complète d'observation de la faune dans le Serengeti

Waking up in the Serengeti is something truly special. The sights, sounds, and smells of Africa are all around us, and a full day of adventure awaits us in the world's most famous national park. After breakfast, we begin today with the morning part of our safari in Serengeti National Park, marveling at the breathtaking landscapes, the ever-changing light, and the always entertaining wildlife, all explained by your expert driver-guide. After our picnic, we set off again in search of wildlife in this magnificent park. The wonders of the Serengeti subtly evolve throughout the day. The myriad animals and birds are the "stars of the show" and the dramas of nature can unfold at any moment. Of course, the animals do not work on a set schedule, so we may find lions or leopards, elephants and zebras, cheetahs and antelopes at any time on our drives. In the late afternoon, we return to the comfort of our tented camp for dinner and a well-deserved rest. ACCOMMODATION: TUKAONE SERENGETI CAMP MEAL PLAN: BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER

  • day 4

Final action at the Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Action finale au Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Today, we will leave the plains of the Serengeti. But before that, we will enjoy another morning safari in the incredible Central Serengeti, marveling at its animal inhabitants. Another day of adventure, a new opportunity to enjoy the wildlife. The Seronera River benefits from a year-round water flow, so there is always something interesting to observe. Several safaris can be undertaken here and could reveal large prides of lions, hippos, or herds of elephants, whose populations in the park have increased recently. Depending on other attractions, we may choose to visit the Serengeti Visitor Center, where an excellent explanation of the park's ecosystem is offered, as well as an opportunity to understand the history of conservation in this region. After lunch, we will head southeast towards Ngorongoro, then enjoy the comfort of your accommodation for dinner and overnight, ready for another true spectacle the next day. Ngorongoro Crater

    Cratère du Ngorongoro

From our safari lodge, we leave after breakfast, with a departure at 7:30 am, then we descend into the vast crater itself for a 7-hour safari. On one side is the Lerai Forest, a classic mountain forest landscape with almost tropical features. This is good elephant country, so keep your eyes open. Next to the nearby swamp is what is sometimes called the "elephant graveyard," because powerful males at the end of their lives come to chew the soft grasses of the swamps once their teeth have failed them. Buffalo, Thomson's gazelle, and eland are also present in large numbers. Hippos can be found in the pools and swamps, and highland birds are colorful and abundant around the waters. Flamingos can often be seen in Lake Magadi, which occupies part of the crater floor. In the late afternoon, around 3:00 pm, ascend from the crater and return to the comfort of your lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest. Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

Parc National du Lac Manyara - Arusha

After breakfast, we will head to Lake Manyara National Park with our picnic lunch boxes for a 6 to 7 hour safari. After lunch, we will leave for Arusha, to your hotel, to rest after an incredible safari, or we will go to the airport for your flight. (With options to pass through shopping areas to buy gifts to take home.) This national park is one of the most spectacular wildlife areas in Tanzania. It consists of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the base of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including the tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, as well as large flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake's algae.
