  • day 1

    Arriving in Tanzania

Welcome to Tanzania. As soon as you arrive at the international airport, you will be greeted by a driver and transferred to your lodge. Rest in your room, in the gardens, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool. If you wish, go on an excursion to Arusha and the surrounding areas. The choice is yours.

  • day 2

    Day at the Serengeti

Today, you will go to Tarangire for a full day safari. It is one of Africa's hidden gems. The landscape is incredibly varied, with a mix that cannot be found anywhere else on this safari. It is dotted with ancient baobabs and large termite mounds. The Tarangire River is the only source of water during the dry season, when the harsh sun draws the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth into a dusty red. During the wet season, you will have the opportunity to admire a dense bush and delicious tall grasses. Famous for its large elephant population, the park is also home to zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, and impalas. Predators include the lion, cheetah, and leopard. The swamps are shared by flocks of birds: green wood hoopoes, lovebirds, large herons, white-bellied birds, and giant kingfishers. On drier ground, you will find the kori bustard and the heaviest of flying birds, the ostrich.

  • day 3

    Serengeti

Today, you will drive to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's first game parks. As you cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Serengeti National Park, you will begin to discover the vastness of this territory and marvel at the multitude of animals and birds that inhabit it, while navigating through this dotted acacia savannah. You will visit a Maasai village in the Ngorongoro Highlands (optional), where you will meet elders, warriors, women, and children, and learn about the culture, beliefs, and traditions of Tanzania's last nomadic tribe. The Serengeti is the oldest and most popular national park in Tanzania, and it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Serengeti is a destination that can be visited all year round, and each season has its own highlight, the most famous being the annual wildebeest migration – a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

  • day 4

    Day in the Serengeti

Today, you will venture deeper into the world-famous Serengeti for a full day of safari.

  • day 5

    crater tour

Today, you will be rewarded with a full day safari in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. You will visit a Maasai village in the Ngorongoro Highlands (optional), where you will meet villagers and discover the culture, beliefs, and traditions of Tanzania's last nomadic tribe. The crater is famous for the best game viewing in Africa, as there is an abundance of wildlife and flora due to the permanent water supply at the bottom of the crater. You will descend 610 meters into the crater, where your safari will truly begin. Spot the black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, Grant & Thomson's gazelle, giant tusked elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, as well as scavengers like hyenas, jackals, and wild dogs. More than 500 bird species have been recorded in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the late afternoon, you will return to Arusha for your final evening.
