JRO Airport – Arusha Town - BB
You will be collected from the airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha (45 minutes, depending on traffic). Depending on your arrival time, you will have the opportunity to explore the hotel grounds, take a dip in the swimming pool, or participate in any of the additional activities offered. day 2
Arusha Town – Tarangire NP - FB
Our tour sets off after breakfast, with the first stop being the town of Arusha for some last-minute purchases before we head off on an exciting safari experience. We will travel towards Tarangire National Park, where we stop for lunch and, afterwards, enjoy our first game drive of the safari! Tarangire National Park is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of the annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Accommodation: Tarangire Simba Lodge or similar

Tarangire NP - Serengeti NP - FB
After breakfast, you will travel via the cooler highlands towards the southern Serengeti. At midday, you will reach the plains of Serengeti National Park. This park is the largest in Tanzania and features a diversity of habitats and landscapes—short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape, where predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration, when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. Accommodation: Kisura Serengeti Camp or similar

Serengeti National Park - FB
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration and large predator population. From February to May, a herd of over a million wildebeest (gnu) migrates to the Western Corridor of the park in search of greener pastures. The Serengeti’s other animal attractions include lion, leopard, zebra, Thomson's gazelle, impala, Grant’s gazelle, and buffalo. Most of the park consists of open swathes of grassland, broken by isolated granite kopjes (hills) and patches of acacia woodlands. Accommodation: Kisura Serengeti Camp or similar

Serengeti NP - FB
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration and large predator population. Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - FB
We take an early breakfast at the camp and then head to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, we go through the registration process and descend to the floor of the world’s largest unbroken caldera for a wonderful day of game viewing. We will have lunch at the designated picnic site by the hippo pool and continue with a game drive as we ascend the crater rim for the overnight stay. Karatu - Arusha Town - JRO Airport - Home - HB
After breakfast, we explore the colourful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last-minute pictures and curio shopping. Afterwards, we head to Arusha town, then to Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your international flight back home. We hope to welcome you again on one of our African adventures!
