  • day 2

Full day from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Journée complète d'Arusha au cratère du Ngorongoro

Often called the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania offers a unique blend of landscapes, wildlife, flora, people, and archaeology unmatched in Africa. After breakfast, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater; descend into the crater up to 2,000 feet deep for a classic wildlife encounter, breathtaking views of the crater, and abundant animal sightings. You may observe predators such as the cheetah, lion, leopard, hyena, as well as many other animals. Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. Later in the evening, you will drive to your accommodation, where you will spend the night and have dinner. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Hotel Meals included: Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

  • day 3

Ngorongoro Crater in the Ndutu region.

After breakfast, we will head towards the Ndutu lake area, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most other Rift lakes, but the water is still drinkable and used by a large number of local wildlife species. We will do a full safari in the Ndutu region. The majority of the wildebeest migration normally takes place in the short-grass plains, from December to April. The area is generally very populated with elephants, birds, and game birds. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Safari Lodge. Accommodation: Ndutu Safari Lodge Meals included: Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

  • day 4

    Day in the Ndutu region.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of safari in the Ndutu region. Explore the range of different habitats, which include marshes, woodlands, soda lakes, and the short-grass plains of the Serengeti, famous worldwide. Observe large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Wildebeest can run a few minutes after birth and, within 3 days, they are usually strong enough to keep up with the herd. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay. Accommodation: Ndutu Safari Lodge Meals included: Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

  • day 5

Ndutu area - Central Serengeti after the migration

Zone de Ndutu - Serengeti central après la migration

After breakfast, we head towards the central Serengeti National Park, also known as Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. We head towards the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, with the Seronera River, which provides a precious water source to this area and therefore attracts a very representative fauna of most of the Serengeti species. Its natural abundance of wildlife offers incredible viewing. In the open grassy savannah, antelope species include eland, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles, topi, and hartebeest. In the denser bush and acacias of the central Serengeti, leopard sightings are among the best in Africa; cheetahs and lions are abundant. In the rivers, hippos and crocodiles are numerous. Dinner at the accommodation. Accommodation: Serengeti Sopa Lodge or KubuKubuKubu Tented Lodge Meals included: Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

  • day 6

Full day at Serengeti National Park

Be one of the few lucky people to ride in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti plains (available at an additional cost by prior arrangement). Float silently above the awakening bush, while observing the wildlife and enjoying the stunning landscapes of Africa, across rivers and over many small villages. After breakfast, enjoy a full day safari in Serengeti National Park. The majority of the wildebeest migration normally passes through the Seronera from late November to mid-November, as they migrate from Kenya's Masai Mara in the north to the Ndutu region in the south. The migration then passes through this area again in April, as they move westward towards the western corridor of Serengeti National Park. The Seronera region is also an ideal starting point for visiting the short grass plains of the east and south of Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Serengeti Sopa Lodge or KubuKubu Tented Lodge Meals included: Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

  • day 7

    Serengeti National Park - Arusha

After breakfast at the lodge, we head to the Seronera airstrip and enjoy a safari on the way to the airstrip. Around mid-morning, take a scheduled flight between the Seronera airstrip and Arusha airport. Upon arrival at Arusha airport, meet our driver and transfer to the city of Arusha. Upon our arrival in Arusha, we will have lunch and conclude our African safari. You will be driven to your hotel, which marks the end of our safari services.
