Stay program

  • day 1

    Arriving in Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro, you will meet your driver-guide for your transfer to the hotel, which will take less than an hour. Leisure stay, guided city tour or day trip: it's up to you to choose, then rest for the adventures of the next day.

  • day 2

    Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After installation, you will depart for our first stop: Tarangire National Park. On the way, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the grassy plains dotted with ancient baobabs, traditional Maasai houses, and herds of animals raised by nomads. You will enjoy a magnificent view of the Great African Rift Valley, then head to the park with your safari guide for a full day of 4x4 safari. You will see firsthand everything that makes Tarangire National Park famous: the renowned baobabs, climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs in Africa. After lunch (picnic), you will resume your afternoon safari where you will encounter other animals such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, many other species of antelope, and birds.

  • day 3

    Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for your full-day safari in Lake Manyara National Park with lunch. The park is located inside the Great Rift Valley, with an evergreen forest that provides a suitable habitat for olive baboons, monkeys, large families of elephants, tree-climbing lions, leopards, and Cape African buffalo. At noon, you will have lunch in the park before heading to the open wooded areas, where you can admire giraffes, hippos, and flamingos. At the end of your afternoon safari, you will relax over dinner and a moment of relaxation.

  • day 4

    Serengeti

After breakfast, you will continue towards the Serengeti, where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic drive with views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through a traditional Maasai village where you will have the opportunity to discover the culture and lifestyle of this nomadic people. You will be welcomed by the Maasai and will be able to admire up close their handmade houses as well as their unique traditional dances. During the legendary migration periods, the southern plains of the Serengeti are home to about 1.7 million wildebeest, more than 800,000 zebras, and 200,000 Thomson's gazelles. The migration uses the land as a calving area due to the high levels of calcium and potassium in the plains, which are essential for milk production. You will continue your journey with game viewing along the way before arriving at the camp for dinner and rest.

  • day 5

    Day at Serengeti

You have a full day of excursions in the Serengeti. The center of the Serengeti, called Seronera, is a network of rivers that provide a reliable water supply and attract wildlife all year round. This is where you will have the best chance to see the "Big Five": lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinoceroses, and leopards. There will be no shortage of animals to observe, as the presence of permanent mud pools and shade attracts giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and hippos. You might also spot cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.

  • day 6

    Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will get a close look at one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This unique, multi-purpose site is one of the only places in the world where humans, livestock, and wildlife live in harmony. Your journey will continue with a visit to the Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of humanity. Considered one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world, the gorge is where Dr. Leakey discovered the world's first humans in 1950. You will descend into the crater for a full day safari with a picnic lunch. Considered the 8th wonder of the world, the crater is a very important refuge for a wide variety of wildlife. The most common are elephants and the vulnerable species of black rhinoceros. The crater is also home to large herds of wildebeest and zebras, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, as well as nearly 400 species of birds.
