Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, take a walk around the neighborhood, or enjoy a quiet dinner while soaking in views of Mount Meru in the distance. Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its sweeping landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees and thriving wildlife along the Tarangire River. This park is home to some of the largest elephant populations in East Africa, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and an impressive variety of birdlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch before continuing to your lodge in Karatu for a relaxing evening. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Safari Lodge (3 meals)

Karatu to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu)Leave Karatu after breakfast and head to the Ndutu region, where the southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro meet. This area is the heart of the wildebeest calving season. Spend the afternoon exploring the open plains, where predators follow the herds closely. Dinner and overnight at Lake Masek Tented Lodge (3 meals)

Full-Day Game Drive in Southern Serengeti (Ndutu)
Spend the entire day tracking the calving herds in Ndutu. Witness the birth of wildebeest calves and the intense predator action that follows. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals are highly active in this area during this time of year. Dinner and overnight at Lake Masek Tented Lodge (3 meals)

Ndutu to Central Serengeti National Park


After breakfast, begin your journey north into Central Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy game viewing as the landscape transitions into open savannahs teeming with wildlife. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive before heading to your camp for the night. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Melia Safari Lodge (3 meals)

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start the day with a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking in the last scenes of the vast plains and abundant wildlife. Afterward, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic highlands en route to your lodge near the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Melia Safari Lodge (3 meals)

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Departure

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts an incredible concentration of animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos. After lunch, begin the drive back to Arusha or proceed directly to the airport for your departure.
