    MASAI MARA FULL DAY

Full day of game viewing where you leave the lodge after breakfast with a picnic. The Mara is the land of African legend: lions are abundant throughout the park, as are elephants, giraffes, and various species of gazelles and zebras. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly seen and, less frequently, rhinoceroses. The annual wildebeest migration, one of the last remaining natural spectacles, occurs in the Mara region from July to September, when the large animals and their predators must be present in abundance during this journey. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow of the Mara bird list, are found in the reserve. In addition to the wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who can be seen around the park boundaries: Morans (warriors) crossing the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders gathered under a tree, discussing the issues of the day. An optional balloon safari is also available, as well as a visit to the Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

    Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Early breakfast. Departure for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrival in time for lunch. Afternoon safari. This shallow soda lake was famous for its pink flamingos, but it has also maintained its reputation among birdwatchers, with more than 400 species of birds recorded here. You can get out of the vehicle at the lakeshore to observe the birds more closely. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey, and hyraxes, as well as superb views of the park. The national park covers 180 km² and is home to warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, reedbucks, and sometimes leopards, as well as white and black rhinos that were introduced into the park a few years ago.

Amboseli National Park offers the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in a rolling savannah landscape, it is dominated by the presence of the snow-capped, pink-tinged peak of Kilimanjaro, which, at 5,896 meters, is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. In this magnificent setting, vast herds of elephants roam, accompanied by lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, hippos, and wildebeests. There are also more than 400 species of birds, all kinds of reptiles, flora and fauna, as well as some of the most striking views in Africa. Enjoy an evening safari.
