• day 1

  Arrival in Larnaca

  Arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel, check-in at the hotel.

• day 2

  Discovery of Cypriot wines

  

  We will go to the mountain villages of Troodos to visit an award-winning winery, where you will enjoy a guided tour and a wine tasting. This visit will be followed by a trip to the village of Omodos, where you will have the opportunity to marvel in the cobbled streets and experience a picturesque setting. Here, we will take you to a wine museum owned by a winemaking family for another tasting. After trying more than 15 wines, we will finally settle down for a coffee and a traditional snack in the village square, to relax and watch the world go by.

• day 3

  Halloumi preparation workshop

  

  We will go to the mountainous countryside of Troodos, to the home of a lady from the village, to learn the traditional technique of making halloumi and anari cheese. The activity will begin at our host's farm, where participants can learn how to milk the animals (goats and sheep) in order to collect their fresh milk. Next, there will be a visit to the cheese-making facilities, where you will take part in making your own fresh halloumi! This hands-on workshop will end with a traditional seated experience, during which you will enjoy a delicious brunch including the cheeses made and many other specialties. We will then continue our journey through the picturesque mountain villages to visit a honey producer and a local resident making products based on donkey milk. Another stop on our tour will be the visit to the village of Lefkara, where you will see local ladies making the famous Cyprus lace. You will also have time for shopping and exploring the surroundings.

• day 4

  Exploration of divided capital

  This day trip begins in the heart of the old town of Nicosia, where you will explore the green line, discovering the deserted houses and old streets of the world's last divided capital. You will have the opportunity to cross the border into the north occupied by Turkey to explore and visit some historical sites. Then, you will enjoy a tasting tour with Cypriot specialties and traditional dishes, followed by a fantastic segway experience to discover the old town, learn more about the history of Cyprus, and enjoy the thrill of the segway. Participants must bring their passport if they wish to visit the occupied part of Nicosia.

• day 5

  Cooking workshop

  Put on your chef's hat and join us to discover our unique cooking workshop in the mountain countryside. It’s a chance to learn traditional recipes first-hand in a beautiful village house with a fantastic TV chef! Before heading to the cooking venue, we will visit the picturesque village of Omodos to discover traditional products and taste Cypriot wines. We will continue further into the mountains to a village tavern, where you will meet the famous chef, with a wealth of experience, who will welcome you with welcome snacks and coffee. Next, you will be accompanied to the nearby fields to search for and collect fresh ingredients from the garden for the day's meal. The activity will end with a traditional sit-down experience where you can taste the dishes you have prepared.

• day 6

  Roses of Cyprus

  During this fantastic one-day excursion, we will go to the mountain villages of Troodos to visit two award-winning wineries, where we will enjoy a tour of the premises and tastings. As we drive further into the heart of Troodos, we will stop along the way for a sumptuous picnic in a picturesque mountain spot, which will be followed by a trip to the traditional village of Agros. There, we will visit a family-run rose factory to discover how traditional products are made from rose petals and also to try some rose-flavored wine. We will also visit a lady from the village who makes traditional sweets and we will taste her original rose jam recipe before taking you back to your accommodation.
