Trip Description

This tour takes you to discover the most beautiful sites of mainland Greece, from the ancient south to the northern beaches, following a carefully designed itinerary to offer you a blend of culture, landscapes, and authentic experiences. You start in Athens, the cradle of democracy, with the must-see visit to the Acropolis (UNESCO), majestically perched above the city. This iconic site immerses you in the heart of classical Greek civilization, between the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Theater of Dionysus. The alleys of Plaka and the lively squares offer you a first glimpse of the Greek soul. You continue to the Peloponnese, where you explore two UNESCO-listed gems of Antiquity: Epidaurus, with its perfectly preserved theater and its sanctuary dedicated to Asclepius, and Mycenae, the mythical city of Agamemnon, with its royal tombs and its famous Lion Gate. Next, head to Delphi (UNESCO), a sacred place perched on the mountainside, considered by the Ancients as the center of the world. You will discover the sanctuary of Apollo, the ancient theater, and the museum housing priceless treasures. Then, you reach Kalabaka, at the foot of the famous Meteora (UNESCO): monasteries suspended between sky and earth on imposing rocky peaks. A stop as spiritual as it is spectacular. The journey continues to Vergina (Aigai), an exceptional archaeological site listed by UNESCO, former capital of the kingdom of Macedonia, where the presumed tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great, was discovered. You end your journey in Thessaloniki, a Byzantine city inscribed on the World Heritage list for its churches, mosaics, and remarkable early Christian monuments. Stroll through its markets, taste its cuisine rich in influences, and soak up its vibrant atmosphere. Finally, time to relax in Chalkidiki, in an idyllic setting between fine sandy beaches, secret coves, and crystal-clear waters. A seaside break to savor the Greek art of living by the sea.
