• day 1

  Yangon – Arrival

  ♦ Arrival at Yangon International Airport ♦ Welcome by our local guide and transfer to the hotel. ♦ In the afternoon, visit of the Sule Pagoda, the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha, the Botahtaung Pagoda, and the National Museum. ♦ In the evening, visit of the Shwedagon Pagoda and Chinatown. ♦ Overnight at the hotel.

• day 2

  Yangon-Bagan

  ♦ Breakfast at the hotel. ♦ Morning flight to Bagan. ♦ Upon arrival at Nyaung U airport, first visit to the Nyaung U market in the morning. ♦ Full-day excursion in Bagan including the Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Ananda Temple, and ShweGuGyi Temple. ♦ In the afternoon, excursion and shopping at the lacquerware factory (Lacquerware Home Industry). ♦ Visit to Manuha, Nan Phaya temples, and Abeyadana Temple. ♦ Sunset at the Shwesandaw Pagoda. ♦ Overnight at the hotel.

  Bagan-Mandalay

  ♦ Breakfast ♦ Transfer to NyaungOo airport for the flight to Mandalay. ♦ Arrival in Amarapura and visit of the Mahagandayone Monastery. ♦ Visit of the U Bein Bridge. ♦ In the afternoon, visit of the Mahamuni Pagoda, the Shwenandaw Monastery, the Atumashi Monastery, and the Kuthodaw Pagoda. ♦ Admire the sunset from Mandalay Hill. ♦ Overnight at the hotel.

• day 4

  Mandalay-Mingun-Sagaing-Ava-Mandalay

  ♦ Boat excursion on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun. ♦ Visit of the unfinished Mingun Paya, the Mingun Bell, and the Hsinbyume Paya. ♦ Return to Mandalay. ♦ In the afternoon, departure for Sagaing and visit of the Kaung Mu Daw pagoda. ♦ Short boat trip to Ava. The excursion will include the Nanmyint watchtower, the Maha Aungmye Bonzan monastery, and the Bargaya monastery. ♦ Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

• day 5

  Mandalay-Yangon

  ♦ Breakfast ♦ Transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon. ♦ City tour and visit to the Bogyoke market, as well as shopping. ♦ Free afternoon at your leisure until transfer to Yangon International Airport.
