Arrival in KathmanduArrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Your driver will be waiting for you and will take you to your host family. You will stay south of Kathmandu, in Langol, in the municipality of Kirtipur, to immerse yourself in a timeless atmosphere and live at the local pace, far from Western concerns. You will get to know the area and can explore the beautiful surroundings, from rice fields to small villages and temples. The friends and relatives of your host family will most likely invite you to sit with them, on the ground, like the Nepalese: an authentic and sincere experience. day 2
Kathmandu to Gorkha BazaarIn the morning, drive to Gorkha Bazaar, a small town on the side of a valley. The Gorkha Palace is located at the top of a hill, at an altitude of about 1000 meters. Once there, you will climb the palace steps: from the bottom of the hill to the top, there are about 1700 steps, which takes about 2 hours to climb! If the weather is clear, you will be able to admire the Himalayan range, with spectacular views of the Manaslu and Himalchuli mountains, as well as a panoramic view of the valleys. You will also visit the Gorkha museum, located in the heart of the town, in a former palace. Overnight at the hotel.
day 3
Gorkha Bazaar to BarpakYou will take a magnificent road towards Barpak, following the Daraudi river and passing through various villages and farms. You will have the opportunity to see many streams and waterfalls. As the road is not paved, it is somewhat difficult. The journey takes about 4-5 hours before reaching the village of Barpak. The locals will welcome you and take you to the house where you will stay. This small village is a true postcard setting; its houses with tiled roofs make it an attractive destination for travelers. The town is also a trekking stop leading to the summit of Manaslu, renowned for its natural beauty. Overnight with a local host.

Walk and visit of BarpakDay dedicated to exploring the village! You will climb up to the impressive viewpoint over Mount Manaslu and other peaks. You will then visit the monastery, the school, the Ghale and Gurung community museum, and learn more about the culture and customs. On the other side of the village, you will see the summit of Buddha Himal. The view of the rivers is fascinating. The Daraudi River, which flows from the Gorkha Himal and Ghhulung glacier in the Manaslu region, and carves its way through a deep gorge in the tropical jungle, is impressive. Barpak to KathmanduIn the morning, return journey to Kathmandu. On the way, visit Patan and Durbar Square. This city full of character has many sculptures, metal statues, Buddhist and Hindu temples, as well as numerous monuments. Arrival in Kathmandu at the end of the day. Free time to relax and discover the capital of Nepal. Overnight with a local family.

Visit of KathmanduToday, visit of Kathmandu with its famous Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. Swayambhunath is a UNESCO World Heritage site and literally means "self-arisen". Swayambhunath occupies a central place; it is surely the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. The "all-seeing eyes" of Buddha, which watch from the top of the monument, have literally become the symbol of Nepal. Kathmandu's Durbar Square (also a UNESCO World Heritage site) is located in the heart of Kathmandu's old center. Night with a local family.

DhulikhelThis morning, you will take the road to reach Dhulikhel, located near the Himalayas, at an altitude of 1550 m and 30 km southeast of Kathmandu. Dhulikhel is an authentic Newar village bordered by a temple. You will meet the family with whom you will be staying as well as the village community. Overnight with a local family.
day 8
Visit of the Kathmandu ValleyToday, you will explore the Kathmandu Valley by visiting 3 cities. You will discover the city of Bhaktapur, whose Durbar Square is located in the city center. This square houses some of the most beautiful architectural gems of the valley and highlights the beauty of Nepalese medieval art. The main places to visit in Bhaktapur are the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate, the Nyatapola Temple, the Bhairav Nath Temple, and the statues of kings in monolithic stones. In the afternoon, you will visit the city of Pashupatinath. The Pashupatinath Temple is the most sacred Hindu shrine in Nepal and one of the largest sites dedicated to Shiva in the subcontinent. Pashupatinath, located next to the sacred Bagmati River, is the holiest place in Nepal. Boudhanath (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is the center of Tibetan culture in Nepal. Finally, you will visit Boudhanath, an important city for Tibetan culture. A major site of the Buddhist religion, many Tibetans live here and there are many pilgrims. In the evening, religious rituals take place. An atmosphere filled with spirituality and serenity then settles in. Night with a local family.

Departure from KathmanduFree morning to relax and take one last tour of the city, why not do some last-minute shopping. In the afternoon, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your return flight.
