  Welcome to Costa Rica! Your driver will be waiting for you at Juan Santamaria International Airport, near San José, at an altitude of 1,150 meters, in the heart of the Central Valley, to take you to your hotel.   San José - Tortuguero National Park

  

  The little Amazon of Costa Rica Early in the morning, departure in a shared service to the must-see region of Tortuguero, on the Caribbean coast. On the way, you will first cross the lush Braulio Carrillo Park, covered with a thick humid tropical forest watered by torrential rains, before passing by the banana plantations for which Costa Rica is one of the world's leading exporters. It is at Caño Blanco or La Pavona, depending on the water level, that you will board a motorboat to navigate among the tropical flora and fauna to the lodge. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the gardens and the pool or visit the Caribbean village of Tortuguero. Info 1: transfers in shared service.   Tortuguero National Park

  

  The little Amazon of Costa Rica In the morning or afternoon (schedule to be confirmed on site), departure for the canals of Tortuguero National Park. This large aquatic park is entirely made up of canals and lagoons in the middle of an impressive jungle, which is why it is nicknamed the "Amazon of Costa Rica". It is through this unique and extraordinary network of canals, rivers, and swamps in the heart of the jungle that you will set off with your guide to discover caimans, toucans, turtles, howler monkeys, parrots, sloths, iguanas, and multicolored birds. During the rest of the day, you can enjoy the lodge's pool and trails, or other activities departing from the lodge (not included, to be booked on site).   Tortuguero National Park - Guápiles - Arenal Volcano

  

  Transport from Tortuguero to Guápiles In the morning, after breakfast, you will navigate to the Caño Blanco or La Pavona dock, depending on the water level, before continuing by road to Guápiles. Info: lunch included in Guápiles. Pick-up of your rental vehicle Info: you will find in the "other services" section of your quote all the information regarding your vehicle. Route from Guápiles to Arenal. Continue by vehicle to reach the La Fortuna region and the majestic Arenal volcano (1,635 meters). Approximate driving time: 2 hours 30 minutes. Night at the Arenal Observatory Lodge. Smithsonian Room. Enjoy the included guided hike in the morning on the lodge's trails.   Arenal Volcano

  

  Visit to the Asis Foundation & volunteering You will have the opportunity to explore the reserve with your guide to get to know each animal and its story. You will discover why animal conservation is important, how it should be carried out, and what impact you can have, all while having fun with our friendly guides who will engage you and help you see conservation from a new perspective. Next, you will have the chance to learn how to prepare food to reinforce engagement, bring food to the animals, and create fun and enriching activities for them to improve their daily routine. This will be the highlight of your visit. Approximate duration: 3 and a half hours. Relaxation at the Baldi hot springs resort Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation and fun at the Baldi hot springs resort. You can enjoy the different baths and pools, waterfalls, as well as slides. The hot waters come directly from the thermal springs of the Arenal volcano, never coming into contact with the magma.   Arenal Volcano - Tenorio Volcano

  

  Route from Arenal to Tenorio. Departure to the Miravalles volcanoes (2,028 meters in altitude) and Tenorio (1,916 meters in altitude). Approximate driving time: 2 hours. Overnight at Finca Mei Tai. Family chalet with 2 bedrooms, terrace, outdoor dining room and kitchen. Included: room & breakfast.

  Tenorio Volcano

  

  Tenorio National Park You will explore one of the most beautiful trails in the country, through jungle, waterfalls, and natural hot springs. You will have the opportunity to discover the Rio Celeste, renowned for its unreal turquoise blue color (which intensifies with the reflection of light rays), due to the minerals in its waters that contrast with the intense green of the tropical vegetation. Stretching 36 km, the Rio Celeste originates at the meeting point of 2 rivers, passes through volcanic hot springs and sulfur springs, before forming a magnificent waterfall. Approximate duration: 2 hours 30 minutes. Night at Finca Mei Tai. Family chalet with 2 bedrooms, terrace, outdoor dining room and kitchen.   Tenorio Volcano - Samara

  

  In the morning, departure for the Nicoya Peninsula. You will cross the Puente de la Amistad before reaching Nicoya, the administrative center of the peninsula, which lives to the rhythm of the comings and goings of campesinos (peasants) and cowboys. You will cross varied landscapes before reaching the small seaside resort of Samara. Then, check-in at the hotel near a beautiful white sand beach, an ideal spot for relaxing or swimming in the turquoise waters of the Pacific.   Samara - Monteverde Reserve

  

  Route from Samara to Monteverde. Departure towards the Monteverde region, whose reserve offers alpine pasture landscapes in the heart of the Tilarán mountain range. Approximate driving time: 3 and a half hours. Overnight at El Establo hotel. Family suite. Included: room & breakfast.

  Monteverde Reserve

  

  Sensational zip lines and suspension bridges Thrills guaranteed in complete safety. You will explore the treetops by zip line, gliding along cables from one platform to another. It is a network of 18 platforms (with a total length of 5 km) built at the top of the trees. You will then access a 3-kilometer trail crossing the forest by taking suspension bridges above the canopy. You will safely enjoy a breathtaking view of the biodiversity while crossing 8 bridges (from 50 to 170 meters long)! Approximate duration: 4 hours.   Route from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio. Departure for the Costa Rican Pacific coast. If the weather permits, possibility to observe crocodiles on the Rio Tarcoles before reaching Manuel Antonio. Note: Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Mondays. Night at the Costa Verde hotel. Studio CVII room. Included: room and breakfast.

  Manuel Antonio National Park Swimming in crystal-clear waters, relaxing on fine sandy beaches, strolling through tropical vegetation… The site is ideal for observing many animals, such as sloths and squirrel monkeys.
