A 24-hour nature stop in Gauja National Park, Latvia, allows you to recharge in the heart of preserved landscapes. Then, depart to discover old Tallinn, exploring both the upper and lower towns—a true open-air medieval museum, with its fortress, ramparts, and turrets. You will visit the Dome Church, known for its collection of coats of arms and tombstones, as well as St. Catherine's Passage, a major site of the former Estonian craft guilds. The afternoon will be free to continue exploring Tallinn at your own pace. OPTION: Take part in the optional excursion to the magnificent Kemeri National Park by local electric train. Hike in the national park on the Great Bog Trail to understand the complex ecosystem of this region and observe the flora and fauna. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and return to Riga. In the early evening, head to the station to take the only direct train to Vilnius. Admire the landscapes and nature of the Latvian and Lithuanian countryside.
