CairoBreakfast at the hotel, then departure for the visit of the famous Giza plateau. Discovery of the majestic pyramids: Khufu, the largest of the three, Khafre, and Menkaure, more modest than its two sisters, but still retaining at its base part of its original casing. Beside them stands the impressive Sphinx with a human head (57 meters long), once charged with protecting the entrance to the tombs from looters. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, departure for the visit of Memphis, the ancient capital of the Egyptian Empire, located south of Cairo. Founded by King Menes around 3000 BC, the city was placed under the protection of the god Ptah, patron of craftsmen. Continue with the discovery of the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, built around 2700 BC for Pharaoh Djoser by the illustrious architect Imhotep. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Cairo - AswanBreakfast at the hotel. Departure for the visit of the Citadel of Saladin, an impressive fortress built between 1176 and 1183 on the heights of Cairo, the current capital of Egypt. It was built by Saladin, founder of the Ayyubid dynasty. Lunch in the city, then visit to the famous National Museum, founded in 1857 by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette Pasha and transferred in 1902 to its current building. Transfer to Cairo airport and flight to Aswan (about 1h30 flight). Dinner at leisure and overnight in Aswan.
day 4
AswanBreakfast at the hotel, then departure for the visit of the High Dam, the ancient granite quarries, and the unfinished obelisk. Continue with the discovery of the splendid Philae temple. After the visit, return to Aswan for lunch. (Optional): motorboat ride and discovery of a Nubian village, its customs, and its way of life. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
day 5
Aswan (boarding on Monday, Wednesday or Friday)(Optional): Early in the morning, optional excursion to Abu Simbel by private car. Visit of the great temple erected by Ramses II, followed by the discovery of the small temple of Queen Nefertari, built by her husband and dedicated to the goddess Hathor, protector of love, music, and beauty. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the boat for check-in and boarding. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight on board.

Kom Ombo - Edfu - LuxorMorning navigation. After breakfast, visit to the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Haroeris and Sobek. Continue sailing towards Edfu. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit to the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus, represented with a falcon head. Two superb black granite statues flank its entrance. It is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Return on board and navigation towards Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.

LuxorAfter breakfast, departure for the visit of the Karnak complex and the temple of Amun-Ra, whose magnificence and scale defy imagination. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit of the Luxor temple. Return to the boat. Dinner and overnight on board.
day 8
Luxor - Hurghada(Optional): Early in the morning, hot air balloon flight over the west bank of the Nile. Breakfast on board, then cabin release. Departure for the visit of the necropolis of Thebes: the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and a stop in front of the famous Colossi of Memnon. Lunch, then transfer by private car to Hurghada (about 290 km). Dinner and overnight in Hurghada.

Day 9-13 - HurghadaFree stay of a few days in a hotel in Hurghada, offering a wide range of water activities, moments of relaxation, and seaside pleasures.
day 14
Hurghada - CairoAfter breakfast, transfer to Hurghada airport and flight to Cairo (about 1h30 flight). Welcome on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Departure for the visit of Old Cairo: the Coptic Museum, the Hanging Church from the 4th century, the Abu Serga Church as well as the Amr Mosque. Lunch in a typical restaurant, then stroll through the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel, near the airport.
