Siem Reap, the gateway to AngkorYou will be welcomed at the airport by your guide and you will settle into the hotel. On the program for this first day: visit to the Angkor National Museum (audio guide in French), as an introduction to the visit of the temples. We recommend this museum for its very educational setup; you will discover the history of the Khmer kingdom and see the statues and bas-reliefs that are no longer visible on the sites, which you will then be able to visually place in situ. If you are not too tired from this first day, you will be entitled to your first unusual discovery of the city. We will invite you to dinner to discover the local cuisine and flavors, and to end this first day beautifully.
day 2
Siem Reap - the temples in real life and in gamesDiscovering the temples of Angkor: we will prepare your personalized tour to avoid the crowds and discover the temples in the best possible way. Then, in the afternoon, you will take part as a family in an Escape Game themed around the temples of Angkor! Please note: access to temples and religious monuments in Cambodia will be denied to anyone not respecting a strict dress code. For both men and women, shoulders must be covered, and skirts, dresses, and pants must cover the knees. Otherwise, access to the sites will be refused.
day 3
Siem Reap: from the treetops to the region's artisansFor a change, you will set off on an adventure during a half-day of tree climbing, still in a park near the temples of Angkor. After a bit of rest, the afternoon will be dedicated to discovering the artisans of Siem Reap, selected by us for their expertise and uniqueness. Art, pottery, accessories, fashion... We can refine our selection of artisans according to your interests.
day 4
Siem Reap, the temples and the circusYou will spend your second day at the temples, discovering more remote and less visited places. Once again, we will make sure to create a tailor-made program to avoid the crowds and make the experience unique... You will wake up early, and spend the hot hours of the day in a beautiful traditional Cambodian house, exclusively reserved for TOKAE, ideal both for relaxing, discovering life around the temples, and tasting local culinary specialties. You will end the day with a show by the Phare Ponleu Selpak Circus, which works to revive local culture and Cambodian art. An unmissable activity!
day 5
Siem Reap - Phnom PenhAfter breakfast, departure for the stilt village of Kampong Phluk, which we will discover by boat. The afternoon will be dedicated to the flight to Phnom Penh (about 3 hours door to door). Check-in at the hotel and free evening.
day 6
From Phnom Penh to the high plateaus of Sen MonoromIn the early morning, you will take the road towards the city of Sen Monorom, the capital of Mondolkiri province (about 5h drive). Check-in at the hotel and free evening.
day 7
The elephants of MondulkiriAfter breakfast, departure for the elephant sanctuary. The day will be dedicated to discovering the local way of life with the pachyderms (to preserve their good health, you will not ride them). Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
day 8
The riches of Sen Monorom: Busra waterfall, coffee plantations, and endless forest...Today, you will set out to discover the surroundings of Sen Monorom, a particularly unique part of the country, a high plateau of remote ethnic groups. You will admire the Busra waterfall, visit coffee plantations, and enjoy other surprises…
day 9
Sen Monorom - Phnom PenhAfter breakfast, departure in a private vehicle for Phnom Penh (5h drive). Check-in at the hotel, then free evening (walk in the city, swimming, drinks on the Mekong, etc.).
day 10
Phnom Penh - the bustle of the capitalThis day is dedicated to visiting Phnom Penh, an unusual city. Depending on your mood, you will have a multitude of choices: a stroll through the winding market; a visit to Wat Phnom (a wooded hill topped with a very beautiful pagoda, the serenity of the place strongly contrasting with the hustle and bustle of the city. Sellers of lucky birds and lotus flowers will be waiting for you there). Other points of interest: the old French quarter of the city, the Olympic stadium to visit at sunset, or a walk along the quays by the Mekong. You can reach these sites on foot or by tuk-tuk, depending on your preferences and the weather conditions!
day 11
From Phnom Penh to Kep: the charms of the seasideYou will leave in a private vehicle (with driver) at the time of your choice from Phnom Penh, to reach Kep. Check-in at the hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day: beach, rest at the hotel… Dinner and evening also free in Kep. We will be happy to recommend our best places to eat seafood, a great specialty of the region!
day 12
The Kep archipelago by boatAfter breakfast, you will set off to discover the archipelago off the coast of Kep on a renovated private fishing boat. An English-speaking guide will tell you about life on the islands. The trip will of course include swimming/snorkeling breaks for those who wish to take a dip and discover the underwater wildlife, and will be enhanced by tastings of local products for a 100% local immersion.
day 13
Kep, the kingdom of buffaloes, the salt marshes, the pepper plantations and other wonders...This day will be dedicated to discovering Kep and its region, between sea and mountains, rice fields and flooded plains. By motorbike (scooter) or tuk-tuk, you can visit salt marshes, pepper plantations (a specialty of the region), nearby caves... for an unforgettable day!
day 14
Kep - Phnom Penh AirportThe last day of your trip has arrived! Departure from Kep to Phnom Penh in a private vehicle, then transfer to Phnom Penh airport, according to the time of your return flight.
