Combined with the Canal du Midi, which connects Toulouse to the Mediterranean, this ensemble forms the Canal des 2 Mers, linking the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean coast.

    We recommend visiting the Romanesque church of Mas d'Agenais before taking the Garonne canal again. On your route, several stops are possible. You cross the bastide town of Damazan, then continue along the canal to the peaceful village of Sérignac-sur-Garonne.     Today, as you continue along the canal, you cross the very beautiful Agen canal bridge and its typical architecture. You can stop in Agen to visit its old town center, before getting back on the canal to reach Moissac, through landscapes of orchards and Chasselas vineyards. This small town is located on the Way of Saint James and its Saint-Pierre Abbey is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight stay in a 2 or 3* hotel.
