day 1

Upon your arrival at Punta Cana or Santo Domingo airport, you will be taken care of by our private driver, for a comfortable and worry-free transfer to your accommodation in Bayahibe. Once there, you will be welcomed by your Tropical Évasion representative, who will provide you with all the necessary information for a smooth stay and answer your initial questions. Dinner is generally served on the plane. However, if you arrive earlier in the day, we can arrange a first dinner on site to start your stay gently and in the best conditions.
day 2

Your first morning begins with a breakfast organized in one of our partner restaurants, ideal for getting your bearings and enjoying the local atmosphere. Lunch is free, giving you the opportunity to discover the village's small eateries or taste Dominican specialties as you wish. The afternoon is dedicated to relaxation: you can choose to enjoy the beach, stroll through the center of Bayahibe, or relax by the residence's pool. A perfect day to acclimatize, savor the Caribbean climate, and adopt the tropical rhythm. In the evening, we have reserved a dinner for you in Bayahibe, highlighting fresh seafood in a warm and tropical atmosphere. A wonderful and gentle way to start your stay.
day 3
Saona Island by luxury catamaran
You start the day with breakfast in our partner restaurant, before being picked up by your taxi around 8am to head to the port of Bayahibe and boarding. You then board a luxury catamaran, a comfortable sailboat welcoming a small group of up to 28 people. The crew, warm and professional, speaks French, English, and Spanish, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience. After about 1 hour of sailing, your first stop awaits at Catuano for a snorkeling session in crystal-clear waters, rich in marine life. Then head to an exclusive beach spot, reserved for your group: enjoy 1h30 of relaxation, between swimming, sun, and a moment of escape. An aperitif is served to you in this idyllic setting. Back on board, a lunch prepared on the boat awaits you, before heading to the famous natural pool, but far from the tourist areas, to observe starfish in a unique and preserved setting. Return to Bayahibe is scheduled for around 5pm. Dinner is at your leisure, giving you the opportunity to discover the village restaurants or to rest quietly after this exceptional day.

Buggy excursion or Safari according to your wishes
Option 1: Buggy Excursion (1pm – 9pm) Your morning starts with a breakfast organized in our partner restaurant, ideal to quietly prepare yourself for an afternoon of adventure. Around 1pm, you are picked up by a Safari truck heading to the buggy ranch, the starting point for a total immersion in the Dominican hinterland. The excursion takes you through sugar cane fields, where you discover the work of the cane cutters and local agricultural traditions. The route then alternates between buggy and quad, for a dynamic and fun exploration of the country trails. A refreshing break is planned at the Chavón River, where you can swim in an exceptional natural setting. You will also stop at a local's home to taste local products and share a truly authentic moment. At the end of the day, you board a typical boat for a sunset cruise on the Chavón River, followed by a dinner served in a magical atmosphere. Return to Bayahibe around 9:30pm – 10pm. Option 2: Dominican Safari (full day) After breakfast, your Safari truck picks you up for a day of immersion in Dominican culture. First stop: the sugar cane fields, where you discover daily agricultural life and local traditions. You then explore the city of Higüey, with its lively streets, market, and typically Dominican atmosphere. A stop at a local's home will allow you to taste artisanal cocoa, prepared according to traditional methods. Lunch, prepared in a country house, highlights generous and authentic typical Dominican products. The afternoon continues with a walk to the Chavón River, with swimming and an aperitif in a sumptuous natural setting. Return to Bayahibe around 5pm. Dinner is free.
day 5
Visit of Saint-Domingue, historic capital
After your breakfast, you will be picked up around 8 a.m. by your private taxi, accompanied by your guide, for a small group excursion day, allowing you to enjoy a complete and comfortable cultural immersion. Your first stop is the natural site of Tres Ojos (3 Ojos), an impressive set of open caves housing deep blue lagoons. A magical and must-see place in Santo Domingo. You will then head to the Colonial Zone, a UNESCO World Heritage site. There, you will discover its cobbled streets, historic buildings, and iconic monuments, including the majestic Cathedral of Santo Domingo, the first cathedral of the New World. Lunch is planned in a typical restaurant in the colonial zone, where you can savor Dominican cuisine in an authentic setting. The afternoon continues with a cable car ride, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the city and surrounding neighborhoods. A unique way to discover Santo Domingo from another perspective. Return to Bayahibe is scheduled around 5 p.m. Dinner is at your leisure, allowing you to enjoy your evening as you wish.
day 6
Cueva Chicho in private & relaxing afternoon
After your breakfast, you set off for a unique experience: a private visit to the Cueva Chicho. This spectacular cave, nestled in the heart of Dominican nature, reveals crystal-clear waters and a mystical atmosphere. An exclusive moment, far from the crowds, perfect for fully enjoying the place and its natural beauty. Back in Bayahibe, you will have lunch in a typical restaurant, where you can savor local flavors in a friendly atmosphere. The afternoon is free, the ideal opportunity to relax on the beach, explore the village, or enjoy the residence's pool one last time. Dinner is free so you can choose the atmosphere and restaurant that inspire you at the end of your stay.
day 7
Snorkeling at Catalina Island by luxury catamaran
Your day begins with breakfast in our partner restaurant, before a taxi picks you up to take you to the port of Bayahibe where your boat awaits you. You board a luxurious, comfortable, and spacious catamaran, accommodating a maximum of 28 people to ensure a pleasant and serene experience. After about 1 hour of sailing, you reach the famous Catalina Wall, one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in the Caribbean. Accompanied by a guide, you enjoy about 30 minutes of exploration in exceptionally clear turquoise water. The trip then continues to the Aquarium, a second snorkeling site where you will spend about an hour observing a great diversity of marine life: turtles (depending on the season), rays, tropical fish, soles, starfish, colorful corals, and many other fascinating species. A meal is served on board, then you have free time to relax on the beach, stay on the boat, or enjoy a swim in this idyllic setting. Around 2:30 pm, the boat leaves Catalina and sails along the coast of La Romana, before offering a magnificent ride on the Chavón River, an iconic natural site with lush vegetation. Return to Bayahibe is scheduled for around 5:00 pm. Dinner is free so you can choose the setting that will please you for this beautiful evening.
day 8
Return to the airport & end of the stay
After your breakfast in our partner restaurant, your day will depend on your flight schedule. If your departure is scheduled later, we can arrange lunch before your transfer. Check-out is scheduled at noon, but in case of a late flight, it is often possible to negotiate a delayed departure from the apartment, depending on availability – we adjust this as best as possible according to your requests for optimal comfort. Your private driver will then take you to Punta Cana or Santo Domingo airport for your return flight. You leave with memories full of your mind, the sweetness of the Caribbean still on your skin, and a definite desire to come back and experience more unforgettable moments.
