• day 1

  Orphanage & Village Tour

  Safari in Tarangire

  

  Drive to Tarangire, where ancient baobabs stand like guardians over rolling grasslands and wide, sandy riverbeds. Herds of elephants browse quietly; zebras, giraffes, and gazelles drift through the shimmering heat. Pause for a picnic beneath the acacia shade while your guide reads the landscape for tracks and birds. By late afternoon, golden light paints the savannah.   Lake Manyara

  

  Skirt the Great Rift escarpment toward Lake Manyara’s mosaic of groundwater forest, acacia woodland, and shimmering soda lake. Look for blue monkeys leaping through fig trees, hippos wallowing, and flocks of flamingos when conditions are right. The park’s compact size means intense, varied sightings in a single day.   Ngorongoro Crater

  

  Leave the plains for the crater rim, then descend 600 meters into a natural amphitheater teeming with life.   Departure

  A last breakfast beneath palm shade, a final dip in warm water, and time to choose a few handmade souvenirs. Transfer to the airport with unhurried goodbyes.
